Students’ statements Austrian participants in ESCAPE After 2 years there was a change in class in our project team. We have solicited some voices from participants in the last 2 events: Tßnde. I took part in the Tabor event which was an interesting experience for me because I had never before taken part in such a meeting. I found out that basically we all have similar tastes and ideas. Eating unusual food certainly was a challenge, but I survived.

Dmitri together with Melisa I was selected to present the project at the celebratory event in Wels for the 30 years Erasmus programme. I was especially impressed by Sofia, which we could visit in the course of our journey to Vidin. I got to know a new culture I would otherwise not have encountered.

I found it amazing to stand on stage and by means of that I gained a lot of experience Nadja: : During the training event, I particularly liked the cooperation between students from different schools. It was interesting to learn about how other students learn in their countries and to get to know about their marking systems.

Ramon: I especially appreciated the chance to talk my mother tongue, Romanian with colleagues. And I was proud to be offered a job in Vidin as a consequence of the application process. I especially liked

climbing at the Belogradshik Rocks, and enjoyed the great view from there. Because of this trip I have overcome my fear of flying.

Anna-Maria : I could take part both in the Tabor event and in the meeting in Vidin, where I met some friends from the previous meeting. Each event was special in its own way. I truly believe that such projects bring people together in Europe.

Marie-Sophie: I liked the experience so much that I am already looking forward to the next Erasmus+ project.

One of the most interesting experiences was that I could communicate quite easily with the other students.

Beatrice: I think my English has improved a lot due to the participation in the project meeting. I could visit a town that I would otherwise never have come to.

Sabine : I was offered a job as a consequence of the job application process in Vidin. It was interesting to make comparisons between teachers from different countries. I would not have minded staying longer, but still we had to go back.

The project is perfect to meet new people from other countries. Also, I really like the idea, students to be able to go to another country and see their view of the things, to see their culture.

Kristyan Kirilov I think that this project was a good opportunity to meet new people and see beautiful places. I'm glad that I was part of this adventure and I think people should participate in that kind of projects.

Natali Getova I am so happy that I took part in this project and visited so many amazing places. I improved my English a lot. I also developed my speaking skills and gained cultural knowledge to find my way around and to master difficult situations in foreign countries.

Tsvetina Tsenova Erasmus+ ESCAPE project gave me the opportunity to practice my English and social skills with people from other countries. Also, I had a chance to see different countries and their lifestyle. The other important thing is that I was able make a new friends from 6 different counties and keep in touch with them even when we are not at the same place.

Denis Dimitrov I believe that the project is cool because we can learn some things about the other countries, we can meet new people, make new friends and I think this is very important.

Valentina Plamenova A great project to help speaking and presentation skills, to get information straight from the source and to speak English better in real situations with real English speaking people from various countries.

Ivailo Nikolov The project is so interesting for me. I met so kind and good people from many countries involved in the project. I learned about so many cultures and saw so many historical places.

I was involved in online introduction and eCollaboration on Twinspace website, the main website for this project, during its three years. I participated in the first meeting in Linz, Austria, the fifth meeting in Lugoj, Romania, the penultimate one in Tábor, Czech Republic, and then in Skype sessions with students from Ukraine and Romania where we talked about Christmas time, school and tourism in our countries.

At the beginning, I made a video about our school how looked our typical day as an introduction for students from the project. Then in February 2015 I took part in Linz meeting. On first day, we went for treasure hunt with Austrian students who were guiding us around sights. In the night, all students went for a walk to see another sights and magnificent views on Linz at night. Following day, we had a presentation about our hometown and school at the Upper Chamber of Linz in front of important people of national and regional levels. On Wednesday, we had specimen lessons with English teachers about hotels, fast food and websites which were interesting and funny.

Following day, in our international group, we were making a presentation about “School and its future”. It was about making conclusions and compromises but the result was entertaining and reflective. This meeting was quite tough for me. I did not have excellent English and was not confident about myself. I made some friends back then and I am glad I survived my presentation at the Upper Chamber because it was nerve-wracking to speak there.

In October 2016, I was a leader of an international group and I was doing a guide of Tábor for them. During our walk walking through the town, we took some videos and photos because afterwards we had to make a video about parks and nature in Tábor. Another task to do was an innovation camp named „How to attract Chinese tourists to Tábor”. We had to discuss what we could improve in Tábor and what to highlight in here.

In my opinion this project was very useful for communication with other nations, learning something from their culture, traditions, life, breaking the ice of shyness. I think the training events were the most exciting thing from the project because we could be in present with others and not just behind a computer. I made several friends there, one friend from the project came to Tábor to see us already and it was truly great. In fact, we are planning a meeting outside the project with another two Romanian boys. It was really good experience and I am glad I took part in it.

Filip Adamovsky When we started going to our school, we got involved in the Erasmus+ Project ESCAPE, it was in 2014. This project lasted for three school years.

At first, we chose cities where we wanted to go for a training event. After that we worked online. I didn´t know anything about this project and how it worked, but when I went to the first meeting, I understood and really liked it.

The first meeting took place in Linz, Austria. I went there with my classmates. People from other countries were nice, kind and polite. They accepted each other, even though some students were shy and didn´t speak so much.

For me, talking to new people I didn´t know was really difficult, but I found there new friends and I am in touch with them outside the project.

In March 2015 we went to the second session to Pápa, Hungary. Hungarian students showed us their town and we had a lot of time to talk with them. We were also involved in a Business English competition, our presentation was about Budweiser Budvar and we got the third prize. I met there my friends from Linz and was happy. I found there some new friends and my English got better.

Our next meeting took place in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. We explored this city and learnt something from history. We also worked at school, did some presentations and had specimen lessons. I really liked these lessons because I learnt new things and I got better in my English. We went to play bowling with other students, it was a great opportunity to make some new friends.

We worked online on TwinSpace all the time. At the beginning of the project we did something about online netiquette. Between the meetings we filmed videos about places in our city, we collected information about prices of food and transport in our country, we also voted for the most beautiful tree. After every meeting we wrote an article to the newsletter, then we read it with our teacher. We also played Kahoot quiz, where were questions from TwinSpace articles and presentations.

I must say I will miss this project. It was a perfect experience for me, my English got better so much. I´m not afraid of speaking to other people. I would like to recommend it to every young student who likes English, learning about new cultures, travelling, meeting new friends and of course learning something new. That was my experience and my evaluation. I want to say thank you to my teacher for this opportunity.

I was involved in two training events – in Tábor and in Vidin, Bulgaria. The training event in Tábor was in October 2016. We were a host country, so it was a little bit harder because of organization. And in Bulgaria we were in March 2017.

In online groups we did a lot of things. In the third year we were talking about jobs – summer jobs, how to find a new job and salary. We put together our experience and wrote about our summer jobs, how much that we had and we shared it with other countries. We found the same facts with other countries – for example: in many countries it’s quite difficult to find a summer job which is really good for earning money. I really liked this topic because it was for our future life and we got to know some more information about it.

Tábor meeting – when we had a Tábor meeting, we were split in international groups and did a lot of activities together, eg we recorded videos about public transport, restaurants, water etc. for tourists visiting the town. It was really great experience because we spoke a lot in English and made new friends. I think we really liked it and we will never forget this time. Now I have some penfriends from different countries and I’m so happy.

Vidin meeting – it was an interesting time. We worked on our online newsletters in online groups the theme was Vidin meeting (sightseeing). I also did a job interview, which was a little bit stressful, but in the end everything was okay.

Thanks to this meeting, I realised how different cultures are in the world.

I learnt a lot of new things – how to interact with others, find new information about different cultures, talk with others and more. I recommend everyone who hesitates to enter a project like this. You can learn a lot of things, travel for free and you can also see a lot of sights and make new friends.

Jana Drdova Every project year we went to two/three countries for a meeting. The last meeting was in Bulgaria in Vidin. I was there. It was really great experience. Different. The culture and people. We saw sights of this city, there are a lot of them. We worked in international groups and we thought about youth unemployment. There was an Easter market where every country put some jewellery and sweets and the money raised was given to the charity. We saw a traditional music and dance festival in a local theatre and we met friendly people in a small village. We also visited Belogradchik Rocks. The view was breath taking. Next evening, we saw a concert of classical music. At the end of the week we didn’t want to go home. Even though life in this part of the country is not easy we learnt to love it.

The whole three years we worked in online groups too. We played a lot of quizzes called Kahoot. I enjoyed them. We read newsletters or some other project material

from all countries and that information was in those quizzes. The first year we did e-nature. We chose the most beautiful places in our country and we put then on Zeemaps with description, videos and photos. Others did e-travel and they filmed a short video where they spoke about monuments here in Tábor. Also we shared some photos of our class with our friends on eTwinning for example at Christmas, Easter and from some meetings. Sometimes it was hard to work together but at the end we always solved it.

This project improved my English and it was really interesting to meet foreign students and get to know their culture. I enjoyed meeting here in Tábor it was great how we made new friends here. I don’t know if I have some recommendations because I think the organization and activities were good.

Anna Horka Three years of the project have gone and now we would like to summarize the weeks spent on it and time in other partners´ countries and schools in the Danube region.

First of all we learnt a lot about geography, infrastructure, culture, habits and many other interesting things, but not only during the meetings but also when we worked on the tasks which were uploaded on Twinspace.

Working on the project we had possibility to improve our communication skills in spoken and written English. We learned a lot of new ICT tools for work and online collaboration and enjoyed quizzes and games in which we could check what we had learned. Now we are able to search for new information and material and then present them in different ways in front of an international audience.

We also had possibilities to see and learn about educational systems and teaching methods in other states during the visits in schools and specimen lessons after comparing conditions of our schools online.

We met a lot of new people and made new friends and we are we are still in contact with some of them. We Improved in teamwork, cooperation in international teams and got rid of shame in conversation.

Some of us tried to apply for a job and took part in a simulated interview which was a very good experience for our future lives. Moreover we got Certificates of attendance and Euro passes which will be helpful in looking for a job in the future.

We really enjoyed the cooperation in our project.

We recommend to work in such a project to everyone who wants to improve English, learn a lot of new and interesting things, visit other countries, meet new people and make new friends.

Simply said, project ESCAPE was Excellent Source of Countries´ And Partners´ Experience.

I am very glad to be a part of this program because it helped us to improve our English knowledge a lot. I could practise and learn so many things while talking to others. I also made some friends and learned a bit about other countries cultures and habits.

Dárió Because of the Escape I could travel to Romania, where I've never been before. At that time I met new people, learnt new English words and tried Romanian specialities.

With whom I talked were really kind, open, and helpful.

With the Escape project my self-confidence got better.

Eszter I am grateful because I could take part in this project. Last year I spent an awesome week in Ljubljana and this year I went to Vidin. I made some new friends there and some of them I still keep the contact. I think this is a great way to make new friends and of course to practise the language. It was a good fun, now I have lots of nice experience! :-) Klaudia Thanks to Escape I could spend an amazing week in Slovakia with more than 60 students from all around Central Europe, and had the chance to make some new friends too.

The days I spent there also improved my English communication skills, and made me know more about the culture of our northern neighbours. I think the Escape project was a brilliant idea, and it was the best gift for teenagers and young people who wanted to travel around, make new friends and learn languages.

Balázs Thanks to Escape program I could go to Tábor and Vidin. I got to know the cultures of the participating countries. The program offered me the opportunity to develop my language skills. I met many new people, made a lot of friends and I still have contact with some of them. In both places I felt very good. :) Bianka As a school leaver I can say that this experience was truly beneficial for me in many ways. My socialising skills have improved a lot and I’ve learned useful information about other countries alongside the Danube.

I took part in two of these events and it was a lot of fun but besides that we had to put in a lot of work. There were many incredible moments while we were in these countries. My favourite was when I met a Bulgarian boy in Sturovo we understood each other very well.

In my opinion this project should continue and invite more countries and school. It would increase the chance of students going abroad and experiencing other cultures. I’m very happy to say that I’ll never regret my choice which lead me this far and it can be the reason why I would like to learn more English and German in the future.

But if our teachers wouldn’t have done their best to get this chance then our student wouldn’t have this exciting experience. We are really thankful to them and we admire their dedication for their work.

Máté It was an amazing experience, that I could join this project. We had a good time and we learnt at the same time.

I have improved my communication and presentation skills as well. We loved being in Ljubljana with all the participants, everybody was very kind. Because of ESCAPE, English is closer to our hearts, I’m sure. I will never forget it!

Thank you again! Ádám I'm very happy that I could go to Romania last year. I spent an amazing week in Lugoj. We visited many beautiful places in here. I learnt a lot and I developed my English knowledge too. I had a good time and I had a lot of memories. Thank you for the Escape program.

Fanni By the project ESCAPE I could travel to Ljubljana and Vidin as well. I gained enough experience to take a successful language exam and final exam at my school. I got to know new cultures and people around Hungary.

Making new friends was so effective for improving my communication skills. Thanks for all my sweet memories.

Attila I’m very happy that I could spend a week in Linz. Taking part in the project gave me the possibility to improve my communication and presentation skills. I got to know some new cultures and people as well. I liked the school activities and games in some international groups. It was a great experience, I’m really happy that I could use English language every day so I could improve it as well. I hope I will have a chance to take part in a similar project in the future because I really enjoyed it.

Petra Thanks to Escape I could spend a week in Vidin. The project showed me new culture and people and I could practise the English language. This project was very instructive. I learn a lot of new things about other countries culture. I can speak much better in English since the travel. I found it useful because the different cultures may have recognised each other. Unfortunately I do not keep contact with any. I liked our group very much. The atmosphere was always great.

Merci Thanks to Escape that I could go to Sturovo. I’m really happy that I made new friends. When I was in Slovakia for a week I could develop my knowledge. In Slovakia we visited lot of beautiful and interesting place and learnt a lot about them. Thank you for everything and I hope I will meet in the near future with my foreign friends.

Gréta I spent an amazing week in Sturovo. I learnt a lot, I made new friends and I could practise the language. In my opinion the travelling programs were the best activities. I really enjoyed it. Thanks to Escape that I could go there and came back with great memories. I will never forget it! :) Bianka Thanks to Escape because it was one of my best experience in my life. I learnt a lot about other countries and other people. Moreover, I made ,,international friendships’’. I could develop my English knowledge and my communication skills. After this project I became more confident. I spent a fantastic week in Czech Republic.

Adrián During our trip Romania I had a chance to get to know to other countries' culture and traditions, food specialities. The trip was very useful as I could practise English. However, in the beginning of the week it was very unusual that you could only talk to other pupils in English (with a few exceptions), but you get used to it quickly. You can make long-lasting international friendships, as I did back then.

Occasionally I still chat with one of the Romanians I met there.

In my opinion the ERASMUS+ was amazing and similar projects should be started in the future.

Dávid Thanks to ESCAPE that I could travelled that wonderful place, Lugoj in Romania. I got to know Romanian culture, people and school life. I enjoyed every minute, the programs and the funny activities. It will be eternal memory. I developed my English knowledge, and I learnt some Romanian words too. I met some friendly, funny, cute people during the project.

I hope I can participate in the project in the future.

Vivi In Lugoj I made a lot of friends, and they were very friendly too. I learnt hundreds of new words for example in Romanian, Slovakian or in Polish language. I have gained a lot of experience. I think these projects are interesting and exciting for students and for teachers too. I hope I can be a part of projects like this.

Martin I really enjoyed the event in Tábor. I got a lot of experience and made friends too. I liked the programmes and exercises. My favourite part of the event was sightseeing in Prague.

Eszter Thanks to Escape program I could go to Tabor. I learnt some new words. I really enjoyed the programs. I met many new people, and lot of friends, I still speak with some of them. The places very nice, I liked it.

Betti I think that project Escape gave me a lot of new experiences. I took part in the first meeting in Linz and in the last in Vidin. Within the framework of the program I met a lot of students and I made friendships. I could develop my communication skills and practice my English. I think the best part of the program was that I discovered the Danube regions with my national friends. As a school leaver maybe the most useful meeting was in Vidin because the topic was the world of work and in the near future I can use these experiences what I got from the job interview. So I would like to thank for this fantastic project and that I got a lifetime experience.

Flóra I'm glad that I could go to Ljubljana and Vidin. I had a really good time and I had a lot of memories. I could developed my knowledge. And thanks to this project that I can speak braver and easier with others. Thank you for this opportunity.

Zsófi I'm so glad that I went to Tabor. It were very exciting tasks under the week, I was sorry it was over soon. A trip to Prague was a special experience for me. I met some foreign students and my language skills became even more secure.

In the project ESCAPE I had the chance to meet people from foreign countries and to exercise my English with unknown people. I also learned how to make and how to present a project in English which I found very useful for my future. In this project I managed to see another country, their culture and their economic status. Finally I am so grateful that I was present in a project like this and I wait for the next project in which I hope I will be involved.

Raul Musteata For me personally, the ESCAPE project has helped me to get to know a lot of people from various cultural backgrounds, some of whom I am still in contact with, and understand more about their countries as a whole.

Moreover, being able to travel and see for myself how much my own country differs from others has made me realize that each one of the countries along the Danube river has a strong point in a certain field and that all of us could benefit a great deal if we would start learning even more from one another and implementing those ideas further. Overall, this project turned out to be a great life experience that I would sincerely be happy to start over again anytime.

Andra Soreg Frequently asked questions like ‘’What do I want to do with my life?’’ or ‘’Where will I work after graduation ?’’ are making us, as teenagers, more and more confused.

For me and my perspective about future, ESCAPE project has helped me enormously. I had the occasion to notice my own hidden parts of personality that I would have never found out without participating .Being permanently surrounded by people and having to talk all the time in English taught me to do my best and to work with seriosity and responsibility. I am conscious now about my forces and I am able to control my emotions easily . ESCAPE gave me confidence and I know which are my goals on the future.

From the moment i was told that i was selected for the ESCAPE project, my happiness level went from average to cloud nine. You do not get the chance to take part in a project like this every day, so i told myself that i should make the most of my time in project in impressing both teachers and students from other countries. I did my best in every little thing i was supposed to do, and enjoyed every second of the free time that we had (not little fortunately). Lastly, being in this project gave me a lot of opportunities, like increasing my english level both in speaking and writing, the understanding of other cultures, the chance to create bonds with people of different nationalities, learning how to work as a team with people i barely know, and it gave me the chance to overcome my shyness, which used to pull me down most of the time.

Andrei Ioncica For me, the ESCAPE project has been an astonishing experience that gave me an insight into the cultural diversity that exists worldwide.

From fun educational games to projecting together a school system’s infrastructure, it felt like we were all young ambassadors of our own country, trying to make the world a better place. Inevitably, long-lasting friendships occurred, some of which we hold dear to this day and will continue to do so.

All in all, ESCAPE managed to deliver both a fun and eye-opening experience, offering us a view of the outside world that lies beyond our borders.

I had good experiences about it. Everything was fine. We learned something new and travelled a lot. We could meet with many people. We made a lot of exercises and laughed a lot. It was a good work with my classmates and teachers too. We had good experiences.

Evelin I felt very good in this week. The hotel was very nice, the hotels were clean. The exercises were interesting and funny. I laughed very much.

I have a lot of memories, adventures and experience. I will never forget this week.

Bianka In Bulgaria, I got new experiences, new friends. I got a chance to practise English language. I felt good. We were in the school of the Bulgarian students. We went on a trip to Magura cave and Belogrodchic Rocks. I enjoyed it, it was a good adventure for me. We had a chance to get to know Bulgarian traditions, food, folk dance and music.

Beatrix I felt really good there. I met a lot of people. I have a lot of new friends now. I used English language a lot. I had to present before many people. My speaking skill improved. I had to solve problems in business life so I felt like a businesswoman. I learned new words and phrases. I am thankful that I could be in this project.

Viktória I had a very good week in Vidin. It was interesting to get to know with the local traditions. We tried traditional dances and the traditional foods. During the week I used my English knowledge and I think it ws very good for practicing the language and I got a lot of new friends from the other countries. I am thankful for that I could take part in project Erasmus +.

Vivien The Erasmus project in Tábor was well organised and the teachers did their best to keep us entertained during our stay. It was a great way to make new friendships, with local and international students as well. The accomodation was fully furnished and in summary it was an unforgettable adventure.

Viktor My impressions about the project was really good. It was very useful for us, because we could make new friendships. During the week we were separated into international groups, so we had to use English knowledge. We had to solve tasks, so we had to work together. I tis worth to be a member of the project, because we learnt about other cultures and we visited many interesting places. The most beautiful for me was Prague.

Barbara I think this project was very useful for me. We made international friendships, where we could practice English language. In the meetings we had to do tasks, which was interesting. We needed to do these tasks in international groups, where we discussed the problems. So, if somebody has the opportunity to go for this type of occassion, I can just advice it.

Csaba I have a lot of good feelings and memories about our trip in Tábor. The locals were kind and they always helped us.

Students from the local school showed us the nearest monuments and interesting places. In the end we made new friends, memories and experiences. For me it was the best school trip ever.

Benedek In my opinion Erasmus + meeting in the Czech Republic was worth it. Thanks to this journey I had the opportunity to practise my English knowledge, my skills and the most valuable I could meet new people. The few days we spent together we could learn a lot about each other´s culture and tradition. I´m sure if we meet one day again with the members of the project we will be glad to see eac other .

Péter I had great time in Czech Republic, in Tábor. I got to know new people , so I found more friends thanks to the project. We discovered new cultures, which include also the Hungarian, Slovenian, Bulgarian, Austrian cultures too.

Thanks to Czech students and teachers we saw the sights of the town and also the capital city, Praque. I´m lucky to have been a part of the Erasmus project.

Barbi For me this project gave really good experiences. I got to know other cultures and I really enjoyed to speak with others in the project. It was a nice feeling to speak with Czechs in Slovak language, with Hungarians in Hungarian language, and with others in English. Beside this through the project I followed my development in English, because in first meeting in which I participated my English was very poor, but after a year when I was in the Czech Republic I didn´t have problems with conversation. So, thank you!

Barnabás Erasmus+ was a really good experience for me. The town we visited was beautiful, people were friendly an kind. All the programmes were interesting and well-organized. It was a good opportunity to meet new people, new places and other cultures. I recommend this kind of student programmes for everyone.

Erasmus + is a great possibility for learning English with having contact with students from other countries.

I learned many things from the others. The Escape project is good for getting information about the culture and the life in other countries. I made many friends during the last programe. We are still in touch. Ágnes My impressions were good, I did not expect such a good accomodation and those breakfasts...can´t find words.

Romanians are kind-hearted people. Till this day I am in touch with a great Romanian girl and friends from the Czech Republic. It was a great week, full of new experiences and joy. Romania was a great place to stay so I decided after this programe to visit it again. Last summer I spent one more week there and can´t be more thankful for Erasmus+ ,without this programe I would never know how great people and such beautiful places there are in Romania.

Natalia My impressions of Erasmus+ programe called Escape project are good. This little journey or how I can call it gave me experiences, language skills and I met people who became my friends. We are still in contact on the internet. We visited beautiful places. I reallyy threw all my fears and spoke this beautiful language there.

Cyntia My impression of Erasmus+ programma called Escape project : I was feeling good, because I met new friends and with one I was talking on the internet after the project. I liked the most the breakfasts because we could choose from many types of food.

Patrícia My impressions of Erasmus+ programe called Escape project are really good, I enjoyed every day of the week. The best thing about the project was, that I met some new people and I had the chanceto interact with others. The other thing that I really liked was the breakfast at the hotel.

We could eat so much and there was a big food choice. I wish there would be another chance to go on a trip like this.

Nikola Erasmus project left some good memories which everyone should deem worthly of cherishing. We have grown confident in expressing ourselves by using English, we took part in remarkable trips a n d g o tt e n expreriences important in the so cial and practical field as well.

Filip My impressions of Erasmus is very good, because we spent one week with my friends and classmates, we have new friends now from other countries and schools. This programme was very helpful for improving of my English.

Lívia The most important thing about this project was getting new experience and using English daily. I really liked it and I loved the opportunity that we were able to travel, have a hotel room and food for free. It was great for meeting new people who later became our friends. I think my English skills are one level higher after this project.

Antónia I really appreciate till today one week spent in Slovenian Ljubljana by this project Erasmus. It was a thoughtful experience, I got to know new thoughts of people, another opinions and of course, I improved my English as well. It was a week full of listening, speaking and wrining in English language, we did every activity in a foreign language, not in our mother tounge. And for that reason I can see the main value of that project. This experience helped me to speak in English more confidently and I learned to say my opinion loudly in another language. If I had a chance to participate again at this kind of project, I would not hesitate. I will work hard during my university studies to get another chance to participate on new Erasmus plus programe, but now, on University.

I think that project ESCAPE was a great experience. You learn many new things about other cultures as well as improve your language skills. I liked that project, because we met a lot of new people/students and we are still in touch.

Tasks that we had to do were useful and we really learned a lot about Danube region.

Nika Hočevar, Slovenia ESCAPE was a great experience for me. I visited new places, met wonderful people from different countries and cultures and learned a lot, without any textbooks to guide me. It was definitely a unique part of my schooling and if I had to choose, I would join the Slovenian team all over again, without a second thought.

Manca Trpin, Slovenia My experience with the Erasmus ESCAPE programme was really amazing. As the acronym suggests (Enhanced Skills Competence and Practice for the Economy), I enhanced my language skills and ability to cooperate with international students in English. Furthermore, I learned a lot about the culture of other countries and our differences and similarities contributed to great projects. I believe that various experiences of an international environment and acquired skills will be beneficial for our future job.

Sanel Alić. Slovenia My experience of exchange in Erasmus+ ESCAPE project was one of the best experiences in my life. I gained a lot of new skills, I learned how to write a good CV and Cover letter, which I think is very important nowadays, especially since I’m a year 4 student and about to graduate. I improved my English as well. I met new people and learnt about their cultures, I also learned a lot about their school system, free time, etc. I think that was one of the most important experience in my life and one of the most beautiful as well. I hope, some day, I will have another chance to go somewhere with some similar project as Erasmus+.

Karin Knavs, Slovenia My Erasmus+ experience was unforgettable to say the least. I had the chance to visit two wonderful countries, Austria and Slovakia, where I had the pleasure to meet interesting people and learn about their culture. Not only that I got a chance to improve my communication skills and grammar but I also made a lot of new friends. The teachers there made good lessons and gave us interesting tasks that will help me with my further education after I leave high school.

Sara Stanković, Slovenia My Erasmus+ experience was way beyond my expectations. I gained a lot of knowledge of other people's countries and traditions. I had a great opportunity to improve my English language and to meet a lot of wonderful people, as well.

Yuriy Lepey, 10-B I am very thankful to my teachers for that great opportunity to participate in the project ESCAPE. It was very interesting to feel a part of a big European community and learn about countries-partners and to communicate with the members of the project.

I greatly enjoyed the III International meeting with all the members of the project and I was proud to present my country and my school there. I will remember all the events of our trip to Sturovo of 2016 and I hope to take part in a new project.

Olexandr Toptey, 10-B Hi, I am Alex; I am 16 now. Two years ago, I was involved to the eTwinning project ESCAPE. It was new experience and I really enjoyed it. We prepared loads of PPTs, videos and other materials to present and to promote our country In Europe and also did different tasks, played Kahoot.

I liked the meeting with my virtual partners in Sturovo, Slovakia in October 2016. It was great to see them and talk with them in real life. We found a lot in common and had a lot of fun during our stay in Sturovo. I would like to invite all my partners to my native town and my country. I hope it will be possible one day!

Olexandra Voloshyn, 10-B It was a great pleasure being an eTwin member of such a successful project as ESCAPE. I liked to prepare PPT and videos, I enjoyed the topics for the discussions and I liked the materials presented by the partners.

The most memorable thing was our participation in the III International meeting of schools-partners of the project in Sturovo, Slovakia in October 2016. This was a very exciting and pleasant week; I made new friends and learnt a lot about the countriespartners. It was great experience!

Whenever I am being asked what did the Escape Project mean to me, the best answer I can find is ‘a breath of fresh air’. It was one of the greatest and most pleasant experiences I’ve lived so far and it offered me an unique chance and lifetime memories.

During the program I have met some amazing, strong and open-hearted teenagers, who helped me realize that time is powerless when it comes to people that are bounded by mind and soul. I managed to build longlasting friendships in just a few days and I, myself, have lived astonishing moments.

At first I was scared that the differences between cultures and nationalities will represent an obstacle for us and we would not be able to relate. However, to my early amazement , I realized that I can have much more in common with people I have never met before, than I could ever have with some that I meet on my daily basis.

Escape has been more than wonderful, it was a life changing event and despite the shortness of time, it proved itself very useful in my growth both educationally and personally. Not only have I established connections that are still lasting, but I have also learned the importance of the team work and my improvement in the

English language is highly visible, especially in speaking and diction.

Words are useless now to describe how I feel about this experience, but what I can do say is that the Escape Project has brought something new and refreshing in our lives and I strongly believe that is not just how I feel, but how the most of us, the ones who actually got the chances experienced it, do.

To conclude, I have to say that I am more than grateful for the opportunity I was given and the friendships I made and all the experience I have gathered.
