Need a ride…..there are a wide variety of transportation options available in Eau Claire County.
Ride the bus! The City of Eau Claire operates a fixed route bus system, utilizing a fleet of 22 low-floored, ramp-equipped buses. The majority of the neighborhood routes operate on an hourly frequency with the more heavily traveled routes providing 30 minute service. City of Eau Claire Transit offers reduced fare bus passes for people age 65 and older and people with disabilities. Seniors (65 or older) must show proof of age or a Medicare Card to receive half-fare. Disabled passengers must show driver their Medicare Card or Reduced-Fare Card to receive halffare. If you are not able to use the city bus system or live outside the cites of Eau Claire or Altoona, you may qualify for the “paratransit” or “specialized” transportation programs.
