Please join me in welcoming Linda Struck to her new position as Director of the ADRC. Katherine Schneider, ADRC Board Chair My name is Linda Struck and as of January 21, 2019, I’m the new Aging & Disability Resource Center Director for Eau Claire County. I have experience working both in the public and private sector. Prior to the ADRC, I spent the last 18 years working for the Department of Human Services in the Economic Support Unit, also known at the Great Rivers Income Maintenance Consortium. During my tenure with Human Services I worked as an Economic Support Supervisor and then moved into the Economic Support Consortium Administrator position. I was responsible for administrating, planning, directing and coordinating public assistance programs for Eau Claire County and the ten county Great Rivers Income Maintenance Consortium. Prior to working for Human Services, I worked at Lutheran Social Services where I managed programs for individuals of all ages with developmental, mental and physical disabilities. I have a bachelor’s degree from UW Stout in Vocational Rehabilitation with a minor in Business. I’ve lived in the Eau Claire area for most of my life. I’m married and have two sons, a 16-year-old who is a sophomore in high school and a 19-year-old who attends CVTC. I look forward to this next chapter in my career and I’m very excited to work in my new position with ADRC staff. I’m sure you will be hearing more from me in future newsletters. Happy New Year to all! Linda Struck
