of those hours with Meals on Wheels alone carried routes delivered daily. This could not be achieved without the hard working, dedicated and amazing volunteers that serve our par4cipants.

A volunteer’s time is a billion dollar industry, per state! The latest projec4ons from Independent Sector from 2017 show that the na4onal average is $24.14 and hour. For our program alone using this average in 2018 the volunteer 4me saved our program almost $400,00! The 4me received from a volunteer allows programs like Meals on Wheels to not only survive but to flourish, allowing funds to be allocated directly to the individuals needing assistance.

I thank you ALL every person who has dedicated any me to the Aging & Disability Resource Center and Meals on Wheels Program. I am grateful to call myself the Volunteer Coordinator for this program, and to work for and with each and every one of you.

You make this program thrive!
