Millions of people worldwide volunteer, giving back is a great way to feel like you belong. The Chippewa Valley individuals, community groups, and businesses all play vital roles in keeping our community vibrant. The Aging & Disability Resource Center is an organization that holds our volunteers on the highest of esteem! With 10 programs, run by nearly 600 volunteers annually, in 1 year alone we have seen nearly 12,500 hours given to people in our Chippewa Valley community, and we are simply blown away. The generosity, and sheer will of those who give their time, talent, voice and many resources to volunteering on our board, sub committees, nutrition, healthy aging, dementia, and many more programs deserve the largest of applause. It would take several pages of this newsletter to list every name of those who volunteer, serving this community. Please join the ADRC staff on Facebook the week of April 15-21, 2018 when we will be posting testimonials from volunteers and participants of our volunteer service, and thank you’ s to our dedicated group of volunteers.
