40TH ANNIVERSARY BRINGS COMMUNITY TOGETHER AFTER DECADES OF SERVICE

40TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS A SUCCESS

In 2023, we celebrated 40 years of our mission through several unique events. We hosted a movie showing of Chosen , a film focused on foster care and adoption. Cedar Creek Church generously hosted our guests and a special Q&A session with the movie producer, Jason Campbell.

In May we hosted the first annual Home for Good 5K, a race fundraiser. Through a partnership with Second Sole, a local running store, the event was a success with 85 participants.

In August we spent a night at the Mud Hens watching a baseball game. Staff, families, children, board members, and friends were able to share memories together.

November brought our annual Home for Good Gala, which raises vital funds for our mission through a silent auction and dinner. Community supporters, adoptive families, and friends gathered together to bid on items and to hear from awardee and Ohio Governor, Mike DeWine.

We ended the year as the charity partner for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra holiday shows. For two shows at Huntington Center in Toledo, a portion of every ticket sold benefitted Adopt America Network. We are thankful for generous community partners like these.
