INDEPENDENT OIL TOOLS AS Independent Oil Tools AS was established in 1992 and is a well-recognized and trusted service company to the oil and gas industry. Service and safety are our main priorities, and we will continue to convince our customers by quick turnarounds and deliveries. IOT Norway’s main service is rental of drilling equipment and test strings including accessories to oil and gas operators, service companies and drilling contractors. Our base is located at Forus, Stavanger. Our Vision “Always at your service” is followed by our core values Reliable, Pro-Active and Responsive. These values define the charter of our company, and guide how we conduct our day-to-day business, as well as our decisions for future priorities. IOT has a wide range of drilling tools, all meeting the highest quality standards. The services comprises rental of drilling tubular, well-test strings and related accessories, as well as first class make & brake services. IOT has a fast growing inventory. All new drilling equipment has been produced in Europe in accordance with the highest industry standard (NS-1), and inspected at the same level (NS-2). All well testing strings are supplied with Premium Connections, and maintained and stored indoor to meet the most stringent client requirements.

Health, safety and environment are core elements in IOT’s identity and they are crucial to our business success. IOT’s Management System is ISO 9001 certified, and we aim to meet the requirements in ISO 14001. We are also registered in the Achilles JQS and EPIM JQS supplier database system. IOT is approved as a Nortest Test Center.

We also perform make/brake services for various customers, with our hydraulic operated torque machines: Two fully rotational machines, one at 2 7/8” - 30” OD capacity at max. 100.000 ft.lb. make and break, second machine at 2 3/8” - 14” OD capacity at max. 100.000 ft.lb. make and brake.
