Nehemiah is known for singing from his heart with a rich powerful baritone, wrapping you in his voice like a warm blanket! Nehemiah has appeared as a guest on Trinity Broadcasting network in Hawaii and Washington state, he's been a featured soloist at the Maui Arts and Cultural center in Maui Hawaii and part of the cast for Bravo! Vancouver Washington's production of Leonard Bernstein's “Mass.” He is a part of the jazz trio "Brothers in Song" and is known for his "Nat King Cole" voice & renditions. His band “The Brothers” is one of the best jazz/pop/gospel bands in our region.

ALEXANDER TENTSER AND ANNA GENDLER

Classical pianist Alexander Tentser, director of the Pima Community College orchestra, and his wife, Anna Gendler, a violinist with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, will perform classical and romantic works by Schubert, Beethoven, and more. World recognized performers and teachers, the duo have degrees from the Russian Academy of Music and University of Arizona, and the celebrated Moscow Conservatory.

JOHNNIE AND THE RUMBLERS

Johnnie and the Rumblers play a great selection of songs from the 50's through the 90's. Johnnie states, “We discovered our passion for music back in the 60's & 70's. Over the years, we've held jobs, had families, mortgages, and have navigated life's ups and downs. Our love for music and performing never died.” Prepare to be dance and sing along with your favorite blues, soul, rock and roll, Motown, and country classics a' la Elvis, The Beatles, The Eagles, Santana, Eric Clapton, Waylon Jennings, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and more!

ERIC-JAN OVERBEEK

Hard drivin’, old school Rhythm & Blues, complemented by some killer Boogie Woogie, by the fastest, flashiest, piano-thumping boogie man from the Netherlands. Eric-Jan Overbeek, also known as “Mr. Boogie Woogie” most recently won the Dutch Blues Challenge 2017. He has also been awarded the prestigious honor of Best Dutch Blues Pianist by the Dutch Blues Foundation and voted Best European Blues Pianist by the Trophees France Blues. During his 40-year career he has opened the stage for giants of blues like Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Johnny Copeland, Van Morrison, Koko Taylor, Magic Slim and the Teardrops, and even The Blues Brothers Band. 7

Can’t draw a straight line? Perfect! Bodies don’t have straight lines. Residents of all artistic styles and abilities are encouraged to put their vision to paper with graphite or colored pencil, charcoal, pastel stick, or whatever. Materials—and live, clothed model—provided. Criticism not.

NEUROGRAPHICA WITH CAROL SOMER - NEW CLASS!

This easy-to-grasp meditative drawing process is based in mindfulness. Have fun as we explore ways to access the unconscious and form new neural pathways via drawing. Some say they gain new insights from this intriguing, cathartic new art form. All we promise is you will find it relaxing!

At 16, Carol Somer saved her pennies to practice Life Drawing at New York’s legendary Art Students League. At 22, she drove a taxi and studied art and photography at Boston’s New England School of Art and Design. She later spent years drawing live models overlooking the Pacific after 30 years in marketing and PR. Now playing tennis and writing award-winning short stories, Carol drives residents to appointments, and leads them in practices that exercise eye, hand, mind, and unleash creativity.
