EMILIE LIN

Apart from a 2-year hiatus during her PhD training in psychology, Emilie Lin performed actively from the time she moved to the United States from Taiwan at age 14 until she started a family. She graduated magna cum laude and Phil Beta Kappa with distinction in psychology, honors in music performance, and winning the concerto competition from Carleton College. Since 2020, Emilie has composed beyond educational piano music published by The FJH Music Company, expanded her artistic expressions with instrumental and accessible piano music in the genres of contemporary classical/new age, jazz fusion, and EDM.

VOICES IN HARMONY CHORUS

Voices in Harmony is a 40-member women's a cappella chorus from Ypsilanti, Michigan. Since 1975, the chorus has provided Michigan with the highest quality a cappella and barbershop harmony through performance, education, and community service. Affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide singing organization for women, they are a nonprofit organization providing innovative entertainment sung in 4-part harmony. Voices in Harmony has found a perfect blend of being excellent singers and performers who understand the importance of laughter and friendship.

DERZIER DUO Rob Crozier and Kelly McDermott

Rob Crozier is a singer, bassist, composer, and multi-instrument performer. The Rob Crozier Jazz Ensemble, based in Ann Arbor, wows audiences with his high energy approach to modern jazz, spacious ballads, and a true variety of world music-infused originals. Kelly McDermott is an accomplished flutist and vocalist performing and recording both classical and contemporary genres. Together they will present an eclectic mix of folk, world music, and jazz improvisation.
