Acceptance Policy Wait Pool

Space is available in the grade the applicant is qualified to enter. Students must be the required age by Sept 30 of the current school year. The student's previous school records meet the academic requirements for admittance. Students who do not have English as their first language will have an English language exam and their results must meet the school requirements and programs available.

There is space available in ELD for applicants requiring ELD support.

The results of an interview between the family and the principal are satisfactory. High School students from non-accredited schools will have their credits validated by the Guidance Counselor. The placement of such students will be on a trial basis until proper validation of the previous credits has been attained.

When a class is full, eligible applicants are put into a wait pool. However, they will not be given a number indicating their place in line, as it can be misleading. Certain groups, such as alumni, staff children, and currently enrolled families will be given priority. Parents are advised to keep their contact information up-to-date with the admissions office. Applicants remain in the wait pool for a maximum of 12 months.
