ENROLLMENT TO-DO LIST

Tell us your enrollment plans

Let us know you are joining Niner Nation by submitting your Intent to Enroll in your Future 49er Portal. No enrollment deposit is required.

Activate your NinerNET account

Set up your NinerNET to access important resources, including your MyCharlotte account, University email, housing application, NinerScholars Portal and more!

Apply for financial aid and scholarships

Submit your FAFSA and add Charlotte’s school code (002975) on the application. View and accept your aid offer, when available, in your MyCharlotte account. Match with and apply for scholarships that you are eligible for by creating a NinerScholars Portal.

Apply for housing

Living on campus allows you to build a foundation for success at Charlotte.

• First-year students are required to live on campus. Apply at housing.charlotte.edu Some exemptions available based on specific criteria.

• Transfer students interested in on-campus living should submit a housing application as soon as possible! Visit offcampushousing.charlotte.edu to explore off-campus options.

Reserve your New Student Orientation session

Incoming students are required to complete New Student Orientation (NSO). After submitting your Intent to Enroll and paying your NSO fee, reserve your session in your Future 49er Portal.

Submit important documentation

Make sure to submit your final high school and/or college transcripts; send official AP, IB, and/ or CLEP credit test scores; and provide your residency certification number (in-state students only) to Undergraduate Admissions.

Upload immunization records and submit optional health insurance waiver

Incoming students are required to submit immunization records and waive or enroll in health insurance. Submit your immunization records to the Student Health Center before attending orientation and review options for insurance on the Student Health Center website.

Review transfer credit resources and math placement information

Explore how college credit completed at another institution or by examination may transfer with our Transfer Credit Advisor and Credit Test equivalency resources. Familiarize yourself with math placement information prior to registering for your courses.

Report any changes to Undergraduate Admissions

If you have any changes to your major, address, schedule or disciplinary actions, report those to Undergraduate Admissions in writing.
