Standing on the deck of Summer House one summer afternoon, the Ajvazi Family looked over the railing at the building next door and said, “I see so much potential there. I see a shop that offers branded apparel, gifts, and even ice cream and sweets."

And just like that, with the help of their family and associates they created a business plan. A new venture to add onto the “Summer House Experience”; Avazzi Shoppe & Sweets.

No, that’s not a typo. “Ajvazi is mis-pronounced by virtually everybody who sees it for the first time," said Merije. “So, we decided to honor our name phonetically, as it’s actually pronounced; a-vaz-zi.”

Coming this Summer, Avazzi Shoppe & Sweets will be open to the public, inviting customers whether they’ve dined on their spacious patio before, or are discovering the Summer House Experience for the first time. There will be something for everyone. The shelves will be adorned with gifts and apparel featuring the Avazzi brand along with select items from Pizza Pub, B-LUX, and Summer House, of course, and the freezers will be stocked with ice cream from Wisconsin’s own Cedar Crest Specialties. Additionally, there will be a delightful selection of specialty sweets.
