First of all I would like to express my gratitude to my thesis advisors Marcos Cruz and Kunaljit Chadha, who have supported me throughout all the year and whose expertise has enriched my grasp on the topic of my studies and research. I sincerely thank them for all their patience and time dedicated during the development of the research.
