Aditi S. is a Berlin-based Visual Communications designer with six years of experience in branding, strategising, web and motion. After attaining a bachelor’s degree in architecture (S.I.T, Bangalore, India) and a master’s degree in interdisciplinary design (M.A. Hochschule Anhalt, Dessau), she has worked in the independent Arts scene for over 5 years helping organisations reach their critical audiences.
Her diverse training allows a flexible combination of skills - a mathematical, research-oriented mind due to the architectural training combined with a vivid imagination.
She has worked with organisations like Galerie fuer Zeitgenossische Kunst (GfZK), Leipzig and the Grassi Museum, Leipzig among others to create museum exhibits on topical issues like Post-coloniality and Sound archiving. She has helped many political organisations like Afghanistan Forum Leipzig, Partnerschaften fuer Demokratie Halle in achieving their goals as organisations of social change. She has helped two independent magazines based in Leipzig and Berlin off the ground with her design & illustration skills.

Music Of Color is a group of musicians, DJs, designers and visual artists creating cultural events. They produce and host radio shows, concerts and merchandise. I designed a flexible identity system for the umbrella organisation and their many different branch activities.

• Softer Spaces Leipzig PROJECT NAME
Softer Spaces is a political and social event organising platform for Post-migrant people to come together and engage in the cultural fabric of the city of Leipzig. They host talks, readings, discussions on topical issues and invite participation from the larger public.
Leipzig’s very own community radio has been hosting events online and offline for about 10+ years and needed a redesign and new design for many of its initiatives.
Museum Exhibits
• Extended Playground by Tarek Atoui
@GfZK, Leipzig
Lebanese artist Tarek Atoui’s first exhibition in Leipzig opened at the Galerie fuer Zeitgenossische Kunst in June 2024. It was titled Extended Playground, after the experimental and playful nature of the sound sculptures created by the artist. In collaboration with school children who were hearing-imapired, Tarek created sonic machines out of everyday objects that were finally exhibited. These can be used to understand how sound also be touched, felt and sensed, instead of the traditional able-bodied mode of hearing.
Museum Exhibits • DER WELT VON MORGEN @Grassi Museum, Leipzig
Under the banner of the event series “Re-Inventing Grassi” the team came up with a way to engage the kids of the city in the construction of the urban fabric. This first requires a way to research their current enagagement with venues in the city.
To achieve this we designed a series of workshops that were conducted with schoolchildren. During these workshops, kids used maps designed by me in collaboration with the Grassi team, to point out the venues that were important to them. They had stickers of created characters to paste on large maps of neighbourhoods.

Exhibits • Bizaar: South Asian Festival for Arts & Culture
Bizaar is a 3-day festival curated specially by and for the South-Asian Diaspora in Berlin and around. The programming consists of a diverse range of arts, like performanes, visual art exhibits, food and music. In collaboration with Berlin-based Rehmat Zafar I created the identity system for the festival and the associated merch and collaterals.

• Inspirations summit
This is a collection of website work that I did in the last couple years.
Inspirations is a summit of motivational speakers like Eckart Tolle, Gaor Mate, etc. that aims to create a library of schlarly insights into the problems of the modern youth.
Curious Case of design is a multi-disciplinary design studio, based in bangalore that aims to provide a full-package service to its customers. It works in the areas of visual design, architecture and interiors, exhibition desing and photograhy. This archive is still growing and will be updated.
