Site Details Brief

An Institution is a holy environment of learning and practising eduaction. It is a town ruled by principles and regulations of higher power.It is large scale space aiming for large scale productivity The brief given was to design an institutional campus of 45 acres of area for student pursuing law practise constituting of academic , and administrative blocks, a library, cafeteria, an auditorium and residential buildings as well

Location - Burla , Sambalpur , Odisha

Wind deirction- North east to South west

The site lies in close proximity to the Hirakud Dam , the largest dam in the world, neighbouring residential, institutional and recreational zones. The site could be accessed through two 18m wide roads, in the North-western and south-eastern side of the site.

Apart from the main parking There are several road offsets provided near each building to provide convenience instead of providing individual parking lots to each and every building. There is landscape feature as shown in the picture above , which is protruding out a water stream out of the only water body of the site present at the heart of the site. Thus a student interactive space is also provided nearby

The ground floor fulfills all the needs of the academic block. Thus the first floor is semi open and is a relaxation space for the users , with planter boxes and pergola with sitouts. There are open lecture spaces which surpasses the limits of the concept of indoor teaching. The users must feel the abidement of the volume to carry out all educational activities in one floor as well as the freedom of space when it comes to learning , making the environment more healthy and progressing .
