IN SAFE HANDS: PRINCIPAL DESIGNER AND CONTRACTOR ADI can take the lead on planning, managing and monitoring the entire preconstruction and construction phase of an installation.

We have extensive experience in fulfilling the roles of Principal Designer and Principal Contractor in order to streamline the process for the client and deliver overall accountability for health and safety.

CDM 2015 - WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? Since the implementation of CDM 2015 (Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015), it is the client’s responsibility to appoint a Principle Designer or, by default, the client adopts this role themselves. This leaves both the client and the health and safety of the project exposed to risk.

We can eliminate that risk by fulfilling the roles of both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor - providing a single turnkey solution from concept to completion.

ADI take responsibility for the design decisions made during the pre-construction phase and ensure that the project is delivered in a way that secures the health and safety of everyone affected by the work.

As Principal Contractor we’ll manage and control the entire construction phase of the project, providing and implementing a written construction phase plan, managing safety of the project, and liaising with clients and other contractors to ensure the smooth delivery of the project.

ADI don’t sub-contract client support but offer a dedicated, UK-based service and maintenance team who specialise in our LED screen products. They fulfil servicing programmes and rectify technical faults through pre-agreed Service Level Agreements with defined response times.

ADI also have the ability to remotely monitor each screen which means diagnosing technical issues can often be achieved without attending site – and in most cases also resolved.

PROJECT FOCUS: INTU LAKESIDE In the latest example of helping brands flourish and making customers smile, intu have partnered with ADI to install a network of Epoch screens across key regional sites.

Intu Lakeside launched a triple Epoch solution in summer 2017 which delivers an engaging schedule of intu’s social, interactive and editorial-led content for customers in the central atrium and food court.

ADI provided a fully customised solution, with bespoke design-engineering to create a dual-sided Epoch 230 that’s installed from the glass-domed roof above the food court, in addition to an Epoch 330 on the central lift-shaft.

Further Epoch screens have been launched at intu Metrocentre and planned for intu Braehead and intu Merry Hill.

PROJECT FOCUS: JAGUAR LAND ROVER, CASTLE BROMWICH ADI were tasked with transforming Jaguar Land Rover’s new state of the art facility at Castle Bromwich into a dynamic media wall.

Designed to offer a ‘window into the factory’ and create an exciting focal point for the local community to enjoy, ADI combined LED screen and lighting elements to create a striking digital installation for the global automotive brand.

CUSTOM CREATIVE SOLUTION In order to achieve maximum visual impact, ADI manufactured a uniquelyshaped 62m² LED screen and combined it with an LED wall wash and over 2,500 LED nodes to produce a vast digital art piece on the otherwise industrial façade.

ADI’s in-house designers carefully mapped-out the location of every node, with each one receiving an individual co-ordinate on the building to ensure the desired effect.

CENTRALISED PROJECT MANAGEMENT ADI project managed every stage of this extensive and complex installation process at a busy, highly regulated manufacturing site. In addition to manufacture, preparatory works and installation, ADI designed a custom CMS that would allow the coordination of content across the entire installation, and allow ease of management by either Jaguar Land Rover’s team on-site or ADI staff remotely.

PROJECT FOCUS: THE BEACONS, HIGHCROSS LEICESTER The Beacons are a specially commissioned public art piece outside Highcross Shopping Centre incorporating seven towering LED totems.

With a brief to create something playful, engaging and interactive for an urban space, the project delivers on every level and has quickly become a popular landmark in the centre of the city. Offering a digital canvas to showcase local arts and creative campaigns, The Beacons use different modes of moving imagery to instantly change the ambience within St. Peter’s Square.

MANAGED PROJECT DELUVERY ADI were selected to turn initial designs concepts into a reality, delivering a full ‘concept to completion’ approach. ADI engineered, manufactured and installed the seven individual totems, each seven metres in height and featuring a bespoke design with three faces of LED and chamfered edges.

Integrated movement sensors are also incorporated in every totem, triggering content changes depending on the proximity of people and creating an immersive, ever-evolving experience for those viewing the art piece - which secured Best Retail/DOOH Project at the 2017 Install Awards.

The iCONIC H delivers over 700 square feet of flexible floor space and the ability to configure over two of three floors.
