Tiger  girls  move  on  in  D-ÂI  soccer By  ANDY  KIRKALDY MIDDLEBURY  —  The  No.  7  Middle- bury  Union  High  School  girls’  soccer  team  ZRQ LWV ÂżUVW URXQG 'LYLVLRQ , SOD\RII JDPH on  Tuesday,  2-Â0,  over  visiting  No.  10  Rice.  The  victory  improved  the  Tigers’  season  record  to  9-Â5-Â1  after  a  disappointing  1-Â3-Â1  start.  Since  then  the  Tigers  are  8-Â2.  But  they  face  a  challenge  next,  a  3  p.m.  )ULGD\ TXDUWHUÂżQDO GDWH DW 1R &ROFKHV- ter  (15-Â0).  The  two  teams  did  not  meet  this  fall. Sports BRIEFS OV  seniors  to  host  Halloween  runs BRANDON  —  The  Otter  Valley  Union  High  School  senior  class  is  holding  the  Monster  Dash  5K  and  Trick-Âor-ÂTrot  one-Âmile  fun  run/walk  on  Sunday,  Nov.  1.  The  5K  is  for  ages  12  and  up,  and  the  fun  run  is  for  ages  11  and  under. Registration  begins  at  11:30  a.m.,  and  the  race  begins  at  12:30  p.m.,  starting  from  behind  the  high  school  QHDU WKH IRRWEDOO ÂżHOG There  will  be  a  costume  contest,  so  participants  are  encouraged  to  wear  Halloween  costumes.  There  will  also  be  music,  games,  face  painting  and  prizes.
