The Grampians Peak Trail

If you’re looking for a physical challenge that also supports a good cause, why not sign up for The Grampians Peak Trail in support of the eviDent Foundation? “The Grampians is one of Victoria’s most unique National parks, with towering rock peaks overlooking vast volcanic plains,” says Dr Jeremy

Sternson, eviDent Director and Associate Investigator. “Being able to walk through this area with a group of like-minded dentists and adventurers while raising money to support dental research is a unique lifetime experience. The money raised will go a long way to help in dental research areas such as Covid-19, implant complications, radiographic diagnosis,

MIH treatments and much more. While you can’t walk any of the iconic walks overseas, why not do one in your own backyard and do something to better the oral health of all Australians?”

The 36km hike will be held from October 29 – November 1, 2021. For further details go to evident.org.au

Kimberley Dental Team trip

The May Kimberley Dental Team trip was a great success. Over three weeks, 18 volunteers (plus John and Jan Owen) visited Halls Creek, Riger Soak, Yiyili, Warmun, Frog Hollow, Red Hill, Billiluna, Balgo and Mulan – providing 488 people with dental care and education over 498 appointments. “Not only were the people delighted to see us after missing the service in 2020 due to Covid, but the staff at all clinics and schools were exceptionally welcoming and helpful,” says Jan Owen.
