ADAS® ETFE SKYLIGHT
ETFE Skylights are a lightweight alternative to glass roofs and facades that can be in single layer or cushion form, which are pressurized with air to provide structural stability and insulation. ETFE film can be custom printed with various patterns to provide effective insulation and shading.
2.
ADAS® TENSILE MEMBRANE
A wide range of lowmaintenance, durable fabrics, the possibilities offered by tensile membranes are very wide. We can offer our clients many solutions for one single project to suit their budget and aesthetic requirements.
3.
3.
ADAS® FABRIC FACADE
An alternative to metal facades, which lack the flexibility for freeform shapes. Lightweight and economical, the fabric properties maintain exterior visibility while providing glare and heat protection. It also creates opportunities to play with lighting and colours on the facade.
4.
ADAS® ARCHITECTURAL STEEL
We custom design, engineer, and fabricate our own structural steel for each project. This allows us to achieve freeform shapes and also eases the installation process with proprietary connection details.
5.
ADAS® SPACEFRAME
Spaceframe structural systems provide an aesthetic, costeffective, lightweight solution to large-span structures. Our own proprietary engineering design software, combined with our modern manufacturing facility enables us to undertake spaceframe structures of any form and magnitude.
6.
ADAS® LARGE SPAN
ADAS® Large Span is a high performance structural system that consists of high quality steel members clad with lightweight fabrics that allow the supporting structure to be designed as minimally as possible, resulting in unobstructed internal spaces that can easily span up to and over 72 metres
We developed our own software for analysis to guarantee the performance of our design and engineering. Our analysis includes advanced engineering, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), wind load, solar radiation, illumination, and comfort. This allows us to plan for unique site conditions and target areas susceptible to those conditions.
Each stage of our project is meticulously catered towards successful implementation. During the design stage, we ensure compliance with international codes and specifications, such as steel specifications. In the fabrication stage, we conduct pre-assembly checks before shipment to ensure no issues on site. Using our 3D model, we can accurately determine splicing locations to fit in containers.
Our designs feature bolted connections, eliminating the need for on-site welding and enabling faster installation. Additionally, our team of international technicians, experienced in specialty structures, is available to assist on site.

The Design Village itself is in a natural, singlestorey, naturally-ventilated park that features cool, well-sheltered verandah walkways and connectors, nestled within a lush tropical garden setting. The architectural approach is one that is contemporary, stylistically international, and nonthematic. Yet references are made to Georgetown City’s historical urban scale, visual texture, and architectural tapestry in the physical composition of the Design Village—to give it a character emblematic of its locale.
Penang, Malaysia
Year: 2016
Scope: Design, Fabrication, Supply, Installation
Area: 25,000m2 - 100,000m2
