I suggest to start from Lampedusa, a small island in the south. It is far away from the Southern Sicilian coast. Lampedusa people are very friendly and in these days they are helping people escaping from war in their own Countries.

If you go to Verona, you can not fail to see Juliet's house (Romeo and Juliet); it is a medieval building surrounded by a gate where all lovers bring a lock and throw away the key, promising eternal love. Verona, in fact, is the city of love.

17 marzec I am a huge fan of food as well and i can't help but admire the wonderful recipes and local dishes of Italy! So here are 2 mouth-watering dishes that will make you want to move to different country just for the food : Lasagna with Red Pepper Tomato Sauce : This lasagna is totally homemade, from the noodles to the bechamel sauce. It contains no meat and is very light. The noodles are rolled out very thin and the tomato sauce is really outstanding due to the addition of red peppers to the tomatoes that makes for a fuller, richer flavor.

Almond Raspberry Cake : is a dessert that is not too sweet and involves almond flour. This cake contains no egg yolks, no white flour and no butter. It's light, like an angel food cake, but has that wonderful earthy taste of almonds.

Now feel free to be a little envious of the lucky italians who have the opportunity to taste these beauties on a daily basis , because i sure do!!

15 marzec Capri is a breathtaking area of natural beauty in the Bay of Naples. During the day the light dips the island into different colours. From here there is a beautiful view of the rocks "Faraglioni".

Finally there is Capri's famous "Grotta Azzura", or "Blue Grotto"; where visitors lie in a

rowboat.

18 marzec This is Turin, a beautiful city in Piedmont. Its main monuments are "the Mole Antonelliana" (photo 3), "the Royal Palace" (photo 2) and "the Madama Palace" (photo 4).

In Turin there is also the second most important Egyptian museum (photo 1) in the world.

Turin is also famous for its delicious chocolate with hazelnuts called "Gianduia"

15 marzec The trulli , limestone dwellings found in Alberobello in the southern region of Puglia, are remarkable examples of drywall (mortarless) construction, a prehistoric building technique still in use in this region. The trulli are made of roughly worked limestone boulders collected from neighbouring fields. Characteristically, they feature pyramidal, domed or conical roofs built up of corbelled limestone slabs. The Trulli of Alberobello have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage!

17 marzec Italy has some of the most spectacular old cities in the world. :) Bologna is the capital of Emilia-Romagna, one of our favorite regions in Italy . Bologna is also utterly beautiful. And there’s a ton to do here. From soaking in the academic ambience, to enjoying the region’s excellent cuisine in local trattorie, to taking fun pictures with the leaning tower of Bologna , there’s something in this buzzing city for everyone.

16 marzec Since, food 'matters a lot to me. I am going to post about that ^_^ Neapolitan pizza (Italian: pizza napoletana) is made with tomatoes and in some cases with Mozzarella cheese. It can be made with ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes, which grow on the volcanic plains to the south of Mount Vesuvius, and mozzarella di bufala Campana, made with the milk from water buffalo raised in the marshlands of Campania and Lazio in a semi-wild state (this mozzarella is protected with its own European protected designation of origin).

And celebration and relaxation usually take place around the table either at home or in a restaurant, where they can enjoy the traditions of the Italian cuisine. They are always energetic and ready for a conversation.
