The names Adam and Eve are primarily associated with the beginning of human history.

Regardless of whether one believes in the divine creation of Adam and Eve and their existing historical personalities or not, the traditions about them belong to the common literary treasure of human culture and could therefore be of interest to everyone.

When we talk about Adam and Eve, it is always the texts from the Bible that come to mind irst and foremost. In addition to the biblical stories, however, there are other ancient legends and sagas that appear to be of signi icance. The Jewish traditions in particular, but also Chaldean, Sumerian and other ancient oriental legends, to be of signi icance here. The content of all these texts essentially re lects the biblical traditions, but at the same time they also present a multifaceted picture of the events in the Garden of Eden.

This book deals with these legends and sagas.

We now set out on the trail of the irst humans by using the puzzles that form our idea of the legendary Garden of Eden and the life of Adam and Eve.

THE GARDEN OF EDEN The house of the first humans

A

ccording to the Bible, the Garden of Eden was a place where the first humans could live carefree and happy before the fall. That is why the Garden of Eden is also called "paradise", which comes from ancient Greek and means "garden of animals".

The localization of the Garden of Eden The most common opinion is that the Garden of Eden was located in what is now the Persian Gulf, as the oldest and best­known cultures originate from this region.

Some researchers believe that the Garden of Eden is located in what is now Mount Ararat in Turkey. Tradition has it that Noah's Ark landed in the same place ­ as a second attempt, so to speak, which could allow human civilization to return to the site of the Garden of Eden once again. Other researchers, however, suggest that the Garden of Eden was located between Mount Ararat and the Persian Gulf.

From a biblical perspective, planet Earth was originally one continent and only later split into several continents. The first book of the Bible, Genesis, says the following:

The German scientist Alfred Wegener suggested the name “Pangaea” for this so­called “supercontinent”, which can be translated from ancient Greek as “whole land”. According to Wegener, this should have existed around 335­175 million years ago. It was thought that the oasis of Eden could once have been submerged by water somehow. This means that the geographical location has undergone a massive change since the existence of Eden, which seriously complicates its localization, although the region was described in sufficient detail in the Bible:

" And the Lord God planted a garden in

Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers. 11The name of the first is the Pishon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.

13The name of the second river is the Gihon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Cush. 14And the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

However, although the legend describes the Garden of Eden with astonishing accuracy and mentions the time of its creation, it says nothing about its coordinates on planet Earth:

"The Garden of Eden was created

before the world. Only 1361 years, 3 hours and 2 moments later the heavens and the earth were created.

When the Lord went to create the garden, he took the snow that was under his throne, and from it became the soil of the Garden of Eden, which is above our earth.

Adam and Eve The first humans

hat do we know about the first humans, Adam and Eve, and where does our knowledge of the first couple come from?

The names Adam and Eve were not chosen at random The name “Adam” in translation means a man who was created from the “red” earth.

The ancient Chaldean legend even interprets his name to mean that he was created from the “bloody” earth. The Chaldeans believed that God mixed his blood into the earth and created man from this material.And the name “Eve”?

"the The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was mother of all living. " (Bible, Genesis 3,20)

Before Adam came up with the name Eve, he had a busy day: God had told him to name all the animals he had created. Apparently, out of habit, he decided to name another of God's creations, a woman, although the Bible does not mention anyone asking him to do so. The woman's opinion was apparently not taken into account either.

And so it became common for people to call the first humans Adam and Eve.

Where was the workshop where the first humans were created?

According to legends, Adam (the name translates as man from of the red earth), comes from the land where the Israeli city of Hebron is located today. Legends say that Hebron is also one of the possible burial places of Adam and Eve. The land around the Israeli city of Hebron is actually a dis nct red color.

The creation of Eve Everyone knows that Eve was created from Adam's rib: He was given the first anaesthetic in history by God, and a woman was created from his rib, which God took out of his body. Men joke that Eve was created from a rib because it is the only bone in the human skeleton that does not have a brain. And women joke that Adam was just the first pilot model, a sketch, and Eve was an improved model of a man, with all the existing shortcomings eliminated.

One of the supposed places of Adam's creation is the city of Hebron in Israel. It is interesting to note that the ground around Hebron actually has a distinct red tint.

Woman from Adam's Rib: According to some biblical commentators, "from the rib" can also mean "from the side" or "from the edge." A bronze figurine dating from 2000 to 1550 BCE was found in northern Syria: the figurine depicts a man attached to a woman on his left side. The man holds the rib in his hand. The artifact is in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

And before God introduced Adam to Eve:

It seems that God was very concerned about the woman pleasing Adam, since it is reported that a whole show was made to achieve this:

"dance The sun, moon, stars and planets did a round in front of them. " (*2)

So pure romance ...

According to the calculations of Jewish scholars, Adam was born on October 13, 3761 BCE and died in 2831 BCE. Eve was born in 3751 BCE and died in 2871 BCE. Thus, Eve was born ten years after Adam and died fifty years before her husband.

LILITH The very first woman

The ancient legends claim that Lilith quickly separated from Adam and became the wife of Satan. God demanded that Lilith return to Adam, otherwise He threatened to turn her into mist.

She refused and, according to legend, has since become a night spirit. She comes to Adam and Eve's children at night to frighten them.

Lilith is only mentioned once in the Bible in the book of Isaiah:

"toAnd wild animals shall meet with hyenas; the wild goat shall cry his fellow; indeed, there the night bird (= in the original text "Lilith")

settles and finds for herself a resting place.

ccording to non­biblical traditions, Lilith was Adam's first wife, not Eve. She was created from the earth just like Adam and not like Eve, who was taken from Adam's body.

Therefore, she was extremely self­confident and did not obey her husband. She honestly couldn't understand why Adam should be number one. The first feminist! In order to make woman dependent on man and avoid another divorce, God will take this incident into account in the future and create Eve not from the earth, but from Adam's rib.

What reminds us today of the very first woman, Lilith? Some of Eve's daughters now bear her name. It is not the most common female name in the world, but it is often used, for example, in Armenia.

In addition, an astronomical phenomenon officially bears the name of the legendary first woman: "The moon describes an ellipse around the earth. The ellipse always has two foci. The earth is one of them, while the other is the empty focus of the lunar ellipse. This is known as the dark moon, the black moon, or Lilith. She is, so to speak, inscribed in the nightly planetary events, but at the same time she is as if invisible or unseen.

n today's botanical science, plants are essentially given names that describe their appearance. For example, the flowers of the plant “angel's trumpet” really do resemble fabulous musical wind instruments. The plants that grew in the legendary Garden of Eden were named after their effect on humans. In this way, one tree is said to give life to man, while another to impart knowledge of good and evil:

"Lord And out of the ground the God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.

The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Bible, Genesis 2,9)

Traditionally, the apple is considered the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. But there is no clear evidence of this.

And the Bible only mentions the word "fruit".

The annual calendar in Judaism begins with the day of Adam's creation and is celebrated annually as the holiday of "Rosh Hashanah" (literally meaning "New Year").

On this holiday, Jews eat apples with honey. Perhaps this is a reference to the Biblical event in the Garden of Eden: the apple became the fruit of man's bitterness and suffering there, and now during the celebration of Adam's "Birthday" this apple is sweetened with honey.

Although the Bible only uses the collec ve word “fruit,” the apple is tradi onally considered the forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden (*4)

The Lord God also planted the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden. This is the famous tree, the only one from which it was forbidden to eat fruit under threat of death.

According to the Bible, after Adam and Eve had eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, their eyes opened and they saw that they were naked. The legends add to this story: Adam and Eve wanted to take the leaves from the trees to cover their nakedness. But all the trees refused to give their leaves to the sinners. The fig tree was the only one in the Garden of Eden that gave its leaves for Adam and Eve to cover themselves. For this tree was precisely the one that, according to legend, has the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.

Other legends say that the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil were unripe grapes, which is why evil and good were still contained in the fruit. And you only had to wait one day for the fruit to be consumed by humans. So good and evil in the fruit were to be separated from each other over time, or the good was even purified from the evil. In any case, some ripening processes were still required.

The tree of life - the grape?

Some traditions say that grapes were the fruit of the Tree of Life. Nowadays, the juice of the grapes is seen as a symbol of life in church during communion.

Christian legend the tree of life Before Adam died, he sent one of his sons to the Garden of Eden to gather fruit from the tree of life. Adam wanted to eat it so that he could live forever. At the entrance to the Garden of Eden, his son encountered an angel with a sword. Adam's son said that his father was dying and therefore needed the fruit from the tree of life. The angel replied that it would only be possible to take fruit from the tree of life after 2000 years, and instead gave him just one branch of the tree. The grieving son then planted the angel's branch in the ground. After 2,000 years, the cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified was made from this tree.

In this legend, Jesus was seen as a spiritual fruit that would bring man eternal life. In church tradition, there are even icons that represent the cross of Jesus as the tree of life. In the New Testament, Jesus is also compared to Adam:

"Christ ... For as in Adam all die, so also in shall all be made alive ... " (Bible, 1 Cor, 15,22)

Possibly such a tradition aimed to show the origin of Christianity, which was then still a young religion, from an ancient tradition, namely “from Adam.”

The serpent ... and dinosaurs ?

he biblical text that begins with the story of the Fall features the serpent as the central figure in this event. The serpent was not a permanent resident of the Garden of Eden. It was a “beast of the field.” An impulse affected the migration of this beast, and it came (it came or jumped: the serpent also had legs then, which God then took away from the serpent and condemned it to crawl on its belly and swallow dust for the rest of its life) and entered the Garden of Eden, persuading Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. How exactly this happened in detail is very difficult to reconstruct – the biblical texts reflect this story very poorly. Therefore, of particular interest are the legends and traditions that have come down to us today. Let us turn to them.

We know snakes as an animal that crawls on its stomach and has no legs

I made you to walk proudly like a man, and it was not enough for you; now you must crawl on your belly. I made you to eat man's food, and you were not satisfied; now you shall eat dust all your days. You wanted to kill Adam and take his wife, and now I will sow enmity between you and the woman; you see, what the serpent wanted has not been granted to him. And what was hers has been taken from her. The Lord took hold of the serpent and tore his tongue in two, saying, “You have begun evil speech, and all who follow you will know that it was your tongue that brought you down.

A snake that s cks out its tongue for just a second can use the p of its tongue to determine in which direc on and for how long its poten al prey is moving at that moment. A er s cking it out for a second, it pushes it into special holes in the roof of its mouth. There is an organ that allows this complex analysis of prey par cles stuck in the snake's tongue. This is what the legends describe: The snake's tongue is visible to anyone standing next to it (*4)

Dinosaurs - the ancestors of snakes?

Some animals are zoological descendants of extinct dinosaurs. These include, for example, crocodiles, ostriches and chickens. Among other zoological groups of dinosaurs, they also reproduce using eggs. According to tradition, extinct dinosaurs were also the ancestors of snakes.

Many museums around the world contain artifacts related to the dinosaur era. For example, the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles/USA exhibits fossilized dinosaur eggs and dinosaur remains. And snakes reproduce by laying eggs is one of the common features they have with dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs didn't just live on Earth. Archaeologists also find skeletons of dinosaurs that lived underwater, as well as dinosaurs with wings.

According to legend, God sewed clothes for Adam and his wife from the skin of the serpent that tempted the first people to sin. After they sinned, they felt naked. Snakes now shed their skin every year.

The consequences of the expulsion

fter being expelled from paradise, the first humans had to start their journey all over again: They had to make bows and arrows to get food, build houses to find shelter, reinvent wheels to reach their destinations quickly, and do much more that seems to be taken for granted today.

Archaeologists have found plenty of evidence of this. What's more, people today are still looking for a way to simplify their lives at a new technological level.

Three possible places here are three locations mentioned as possible burial sites of Adam and Eve.

1)

Cave of the Patriarchs "Machpelah" in Hebron

The first hypothesis places the grave of Adam and Eve in the cave “Machpelah” (translated “Cave of the Double Tombs”) in Hebron in Israel. This is where Abraham, his wife Sarah and their descendants (Isaac, his wife Rebekah, Jacob's grandson and one of his wives Leah) were buried over 3000 years ago. Traditionally, this tomb of Abraham and Sarah is also regarded as the burial place of Adam and Eve. The cave is called the “Cave of the Double Tombs” because, according to legend, Adam and Eve were buried here. The Bible says that Abraham wanted to bury his wife Sarah exclusively in this place when she died, as if he knew something special about this place.

The legends say that Adam was created from the earth in the place where he was later buried, as the Scripture says:

"...

till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.

Adam's Chapel in the CHURCH of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem

In Christianity, the Chapel of Adam in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem below Golgotha is regarded as another possible location for the tomb of Adam and Eve. Adam's skull is said to have lain here. The cross of Jesus is believed to stand above this site. Legend has it that Jesus' blood flowed through cracks in the rock after the earthquake during the crucifixion and onto the skull, freeing Adam from original sin. A rock with a partial reddish tinge, which can be seen next to the Chapel of Adam, is said to prove this story. In one of the four Gospels, it is written that after Jesus' resurrection, many other dead people also rose from the dead. And some of the commentaries also mention Adam himself, who also came into contact with the shed blood of Jesus in his tomb under Golgotha.

It should be said that the idea of washing the "first Adam" with the sacrificial blood of the "second Adam" is present in almost all Christian denominations. In the Orthodox Church, under the image of Jesus on the cross, there is an image of a skull and bones. This is not a symbol of defeated death, as one might think, but an image of the first sinful man, Adam. In the Catholic Church, one can also see an image of Adam brought back to life by the blood of the cross, as well as a caption stating that it was Adam, to avoid other interpretations. One of the Gospels says that after the

resurrection of Christ, some people were resurrected. Some understand this statement as the resurrection of Adam.

­ according to one of the legends. Mount Moria (Temple Mount) is approximately 900 meters from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

The “second” Golgotha

There is also an assumption that the first people were buried in Golgotha. The Anglican Church assumes that Jesus was crucified at a different location. The so­called “second Golgotha” is a rock in Jerusalem that resembles a skull from various angles. Like the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site is also located around 1000 meters from the Temple Mount. As the name “Golgotha” can be derived from the Aramaic word “skull”, it is said that the eye sockets of the skull rock, the places where Adam and Eve were buried.

There is also the view that the search for the burial of the first humans makes no sense because, if you believe in Adam and Eve, the fact that there was also the so­called Noahic Flood is hard to deny. The Noah flood should probably have destroyed this burial.

E P I L O G U E What do we still remember today about the famous ancestors of all mankind? The names Adam and Eve are obviously linked to our human origins. It does not seem to matter whether one is convinced that man is the result of a big bang, whether he was mutated from an ape or was created directly by the hand of God. Often, biblical and non­biblical texts about Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden touch the inner core of man and ultimately cause us to reflect on our ancestry and think about present goals and values.

Much time has passed that no one knows that life can be different from what it is. Often only vague images of paradise remain in human memory. In contrast, a tangible reality prevails ­ a world of problems: suffering, illness and death.

But life continues ...... perhaps again at some point ­ in the Garden of Eden ...

An Attempt to Reconstruct What Happened ...

Chapter 1 The Story of Humanity Begins A cloud hovered over the cornerstone of the earth that God placed at the base of the earth billions of years ago, from which He measured and arranged millions of galaxies, obscuring the main event of the day. The show was billed as “The Main Project.” The details were already known to all. And there was no one who didn't want to be there, so there were no empty seats. While everyone waited for the culmination, the angels spent their time discussing what may come: ­ they drag out the beginning.... Maybe the boss has put the project on hold after all? ­ No, definitely not. Mikhail went to him with a petition to freeze the project ­ remember we signed it?

He said no. ­ Did He explain why? ­ He said that of course man will cause the destruction of the Earth, but what else can he do when man was created from the most insignificant material ­ from the dust. You angels were created from precious sparks of fire, and what good is that? Even among you there are traitors.

­ It is said that those who know that God Himself will shed His blood in earthly wars,­ intervened one of the angels standing behind him. ­ I can well imagine that,­ agreed the narrator. ­ And who betrayed? You said one of us was a traitor?

Oh! I think this is it! The cloud above the cornerstone began to move and seemed to dissipate. Two figures appeared, lying on the cornerstone.

All living things around them held their breath. And someone in the crowd asked in a whisper:

­ Which of the two is human? ­ I have no idea, ­ he replied, ­ maybe both of them?

The man breathed in part of the cloud, lay still for a while and opened his eyes. ...The history of humanity has begun...

Chapter 2 Lilith - the very first Lady The angels held their breath and watched what would happen next on the cornerstone. Adam was already sitting on the stone. He looked around with interest. The woman next to him was still lying there, although she had already started breathing. After a while she opened her eyes, looked at Adam and closed her eyes again. "Oh God!" she thought, "There is no one to choose from!" Adam tilted his head to her and smiled: "My assistant!" he said confidently but quietly. The answer came immediately: ­ You will not get it! ­ she said, opening her eyes.

­ But I... we... you were created this way. ­ Like you, I was created by the hand of the Creator, not by His word! I was also created from the earth, like you!

She looked at everyone and said:

At that moment Adam raised his hands to heaven and began to shout loudly: ‑ Oh, Lord! Who will help me if she goes away?

The angels began to whisper: "It seems that something is going wrong in the show..." Suddenly an all­

encompassing, harsh voice shook the sky: "Woman! Come back to the man, otherwise you will be turned into mist."

The woman froze for a moment, then turned to Adam and looked at him with contempt: "Traitor!" ­ Bow to me! ­ repeated Lucifer. ­ I don't know anymore, because then God will turn me into a mist, and then I will be seen only at night. ­ The night is better than the day. ­ Oh, really? ­ asked the woman.

The angels around her murmured: "This Lucifer was constantly slowing down the project, and now he has decided to disrupt the opening show even more!" Meanwhile, Lucifer had already left with the woman, and the last thing that could be heard was him repeating once again: "Bow to me!"

In the night, Adam suddenly woke up and a shiver ran down his skin. Sitting on the edge of the cornerstone, he saw the transparent silhouette of a woman: ­ You? ­ he asked, ­ Have you decided to be with me again? ­ I will come back to you ... sometimes ... at night to scare you. In the morning, Adam saw the angels standing at the cornerstone: ­ We will take you home. ­ Home? Where am I now?

The path led through different landscapes: Forests replaced fields, Rivers and lakes followed deserted places. He could see mysterious swampy places along the way. The flying splashes of waterfalls, the crazy colors of field flowers, as well as the artistic statues from the rocky mountains with magical beauty, Adam watched with amazement. Again and again Adam tried to imagine how the house they were all going to now could look like. However, reality has exceeded all expectations. The angels led him to a low, rocky fence.

The Garden of Eden -

Flowering bushes formed an artistic arch over the entrance to the fence, which consisted of colored rocks covered with patches of curly grasses. Here nature had skillfully created an entire entrance complex. Adam enjoyed the smell of the plants when the place appeared on the horizon. After a few steps through the archway, the man entered the intended place for the first time. In an instant, the wasteland with the inconspicuous cornerstone, to which Adam had thought he had become accustomed forever, was forgotten. And the natural diversity that had delighted him along the way now seemed a mere misunderstanding compared to what now lay before him. A waterfall roared in the distance, all around the place was watered by flowing rivers, none of which was alike. The variety of colors and scents was intoxicating. Fruits, sun, water, flowers, birdsong, air ... As soon as he moved his foot, the grass carpet under his feet immediately returned. The branches of the fruits bent towards him as soon as he thought they pleased him, the splashes of the waterfall seemed to obey his wishes: if he wished, they covered his skin with gentle drops carried by the breeze, refreshing him with their coolness. Exotic animals constantly hung around, trying to attract the man's attention, they communicated with each other, and Adam understood them all. "This is my home!" ­ said the man enthusiastically. In billions of icy and dark galaxies, between the poles of permafrost and the heat on planet Earth, in the warm and pleasant land of Eden, a small oasis has been established with the most optimal conditions for humans. Excellent in climate, landscape, design, fauna and flora.

The dinosaur The dinosaur looked up at the evening sky and thought about recent events. He had learned from reliable sources that Lucifer ‑ now a disgraced angel and once a high‑ranking of icial ‑ who was not unknown in certain circles, had formed family ties. And with whom! With the irst wife. And they apparently live soul for soul! Recently another woman came off the assembly line.

Rumor has it the blonde! "Why am I worse than an angel?

Maybe I can get her to come to me? Why not? Interfaith marriages are not prohibited yet."

The dinosaur lew over the ield in the morning and arrived in the Garden of Eden. After getting his bearings, he decided to go to the middle of the oasis. There he spotted the woman with blonde hair. She was walking in circles around a tree and examining its fruits.

The dinosaur approached her: ‑ Madam! I'm a tourist here. Please tell me where there are any sights.

‑ There! The local attraction is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil! ‑ she pointed to a tree that she herself had been looking at curiously earlier.

Unfortunately, however, it is not possible to taste its fruits, since they are not supposed to be picked.

Otherwise, there is death. ­ Ah, really? A sign with a warning like "Do not swim beyond the buoys" should be installed in this case.

I don't see anything like that here.

­ That's what the man told me. And that's what God told him. ­ Did God really say not to eat from every tree? ­ We can eat from every tree. But not from this one. I already said it, and you are not stupid!? ­ I am not stupid at all, madam! I am the most cunning and bold! ­ He spread his tail like a peacock to gain Eve's favor ­ I am ready to risk even death for you. Watch!

He took a fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and presented it to Eve. ­ Well, see!? After I plucked it, I did not come to death: there are still two of us! It will definitely taste good. And the fact that you can't eat it is just fake news. ­ Wow! ­ Eva was delighted. ­ Did I impress you? ­ asked the dinosaur.

But Eva was on her wavelength: Adam loves juice, but has never tried this fruit! I'll make him a cocktail!

Eva happily disappeared behind the trees. ­ I didn't impress her, ­ sighed the dinosaur, flapped his powerful wings, rose into the air and headed home to his fields.

Some time later, a summons to court appeared in the dinosaur family's mailbox....

Chapter 5

­ Experts say that all this beauty will go under water in the future, ­ two large birds, sitting on a swaying branch of a palm tree, discussed the current geopolitical situation of the Garden of Eden. ­ How will this happen?

A fidgety sparrow joined them and chirped incessantly, wanting to prove his local knowledge as soon as possible: ­ Did you ask what happened here yesterday? No? Then I'll tell you right away. Two newcomers ate a lot of unripe fruit and they got diarrhea. They both stank and they polluted all the flora here and were chased away. Oh­oh­oh­oh­oh! There was a big fight! Everyone got it! Even the dinosaur got it, although he lives in a field and not here. I didn't really see much of the whole thing. I can't tell you exactly why, why would I lie? But the newcomers ­ I'm sure ­ were told not to eat those berries before Saturday. They weren't ripe yet. But they were obviously starving...

When the sparrow flew away, the big birds sat on the branch in silence for another minute, and then they took to the air. ­ Let's get out of here: Every day these people have an unplanned faux pas!

Does it taste good?

Chapter 6 Life beyond paradise The perpetrators were convicted in the Supreme Court of "illegal public trafficking of unlicensed and unlabelled food and agricultural products in the Eden region, resulting in a food safety violation". In order to prevent them from permanently contaminating the remaining flora of the oasis, they were deported from the region of their current residence. However, it was decided to make some concessions to the protesting population of two and give them time to pack their bags before being deported. But the criminals refused to surrender their citizenship and leave the region immediately.

The angel said to Adam: "If you and Eve leave the Garden of Eden today, you may take something from the garden!"

Adam realized from the angel's tone that this was the maximum that the authorities would agree to in this situation and that such an offer would not be repeated twice. He decided to agree and set off through the Garden of Eden to look for what he considered to be the most valuable thing there. Angel and Eve were waiting for him at the customs at the gate of Eden.

If Adam had thought about it carefully, perhaps he would have taken something with him into exile that could be useful in the world beyond the gate? Perhaps a fruit from the tree of wisdom and knowledge, the seeds of which he could plant on planet Earth? Or a branch from the medicinal bush, which he could place somewhere near his cave? What else could he have stolen from the Garden of Eden? It seems to me that any of us would have had difficulty with such a question. So let's not judge Adam: Somewhere on a square paved with various stones, he found a large diamond and dragged it to the gate, where the people waiting were already losing patience.

­ Wonderful! ­ said the angel sarcastically ­ a stone from the sidewalk! Now follow me.

The angel led them both to the gate. Adam had seen this picture before. "This is not a five­star paradise all inclusive!" ­ but Eva was a little confused and disappointed.

Having reached the river of the future, Adam accidentally stumbled and the diamond fell out of his hands. Adam, who had tried to get it back, leaned over and suddenly asked in surprise: ­ Which diamond is mine? There are so many of them at the bottom here!

The angel answered: ­ And you think you are the only one who was expelled from the Garden of Eden? The apple does not fall far from the tree: many of your descendants in the future will also drop diamonds into the river ... or bury talents in the ground.

After these words, the angel wished the couple good luck and a good, productive day and disappeared.

Adam and Eve sat by the river of the future, not knowing what to do now. When the sun had almost set, two silhouettes appeared on the horizon. Adam recognized them immediately: ­ Eve, these are Lucifer and Lilith! ­ he stated tensely.

Eva knew from Adam's stories that it was his "ex" with her "new boyfriend" and somehow this

encounter was not very inspiring. ­ Why are you following us? ­ Eva shouted, wondering whether attack is the best defense. ­ We are your new neighbors! ­ Lilith replied disparagingly. ­ But we are going over there now! ­ Adam and Eva waved their hands in the direction of the mountain to make it clear that they would best live away from them across seven mountains. ­ But we are your neighbors everywhere now! ­ said the light bearer no less caustically, as the name Lucifer is translated into understandable terms. Such words smelled of threat and gave Adam an uneasy feeling. Lucifer interrupted the long pause: ­ Why are you sitting by the river of the future and not watching anything? A very interesting action film is being broadcast today! Look, Adam, do you see?

Adam looked at the water of the river of the future and saw some wonderful images in motion. ­ Oh!" Adam exhaled, "what strange creatures! A galloping iron unicorn, a flying metal bird and an iron dragonfly with a spinning iron crown on its head! I have never seen anything like it! ­ Yes, it's a military tank, an airplane and a helicopter! They are built by some of your children, Adam and Eve, to kill your other children!

Tents were pitched near the oak tree, and a woman was busy preparing dinner for her husband and son. The servants were busy with their work, and herds were grazing peacefully nearby. ­ My son, don't climb so high on the rocks! ­ the father was worried. The boy turned at the voice, ran to the old man under the oak tree and clung to him: ­ You chose the biggest tree for shade, didn't you, dad? ­ My boy, this is a very specific tree! It is a tree from a sprout brought from the Garden of Eden, ­ the old man answered. ­ Where is it? ­ asked the child. He had never seen a garden before. ­ It is no longer here. When Adam fell ill, he sent him to the Garden of Eden, because he knew that a tree of life grew there. He wanted to eat its fruit and get well. But Seth did not receive any fruit, only a branch of this tree. He returned to his father, but Adam was already dead. Seth planted the branch and this oak tree grew. But after the first people sinned and were banished from the Garden of Eden, the fruits of the tree of life became inedible: they grew stunted. Do you see what they are like?

The old man picked up one of the acorns that had fallen from the oak tree.

­ The acorns in the Garden of Eden used to be the most delicious fruits, giving life to those who ate them. But how can you eat them today? They are as hard as stone.

But I digress from the main organizer of today's event ­ without exaggeration, the great man of our time ­ Ilon Musk. You can see him on your screens right now. He is anxiously watching the approach of the "Carnestone of the Earth" to Mars. "But attention! The countdown has begun!"

­ ... Four! Three! Two! One! Zero! We are on Mars!

Everyone hugged and congratulated each other. The earthlings uncorked champagne in front of their screens.

We are on Mars, friends! ­ shouted a journalist ­ "We are on Mars!"

"Mr. Musk, congratulations to all of us! We are on Mars! Is this exactly how you imagined this moment?" ­ With these words, the journalist handed the microphone to a beaming man who could hardly contain himself with joy. ­ I want to say: guys, this is just the beginning! We were able to break away from the Earth in the truest sense of the word. Just think about it: in all the many thousands of years of human history, we have been able to live peacefully and without war on planet Earth for only three hundred years in total! If you add up all the years when our planet was not killed in wars, I mean. Only three hundred years! I will not mention the rest of the evil. Mars gives us ­ all of humanity ­ a new chance for peace and happiness! ­ As for the new life on Mars: what do our scientists say about the habitat? Is it possible to plant there?
