Gil Schafer, the award-winning classical architect and author of the new book, “The Great American House”, knows what makes a traditional house livable today. Visiting his grandmother’s house in Thomasville, Georgia, while growing up, Gil gained valuable insight about how a great house becomes a special place which lives in your memories for a lifetime, and he will share some of the lessons learned there that have influenced his work over the last 20 years.
