Vitamin C-Must be Supplied It has been medically published, included in patents, and is well known that vitamin C is necessary for general well being and good health in humans.

Because humans are one of the few animals, which lack the biochemical mechanisms to synthesize vitamin C, it must be supplied in the diet in the form of food or supplement.

Vitamin C Deficiencies and Health Complications Deficiencies of Vitamin C lead to many health complications, such as (a) abnormal bleeding in the skin, mucous membranes, internal organs, and muscles, due to impaired capillary integrity with subcutaneous hemorrhages, (b) edema, (c) joint pain, (d) anorexia, (e) anaemia’s, (f) impaired wound healing, as well as resulting in generally poor health.

Vitamin C-Deficiencies in Children Vitamin C deficiencies in children can result in joint swelling, arrested skeletal development, tenderness and swelling of joints, impaired wound healing, anaemia and inadequate tooth development.

L-Ascorbate C Crystals™ L-Ascorbate C Crystals™ is a special Crystal form with a fully and uniquely attached Sodium Molecule that is buffered to a non acidic, neutral ph, and definitely eliminates, or greatly reduces the normal intestinal distress that occurs with some individuals taking large amounts of Vitamin C. Each gram (1000 mg) of Vitamin C activity from L- Ascorbate C Crystals™ provides only 120 mg of elemental sodium.

L-Ascorbate C Crystals™, differ from regular ascorbic acid Vitamin C or other buffered products in that it is fully reacted, to have a non-acidic or neutral ph and can be taken in generous amounts without the normal upset of the stomach or intestine. The sodium molecule used in this product to help with enhanced entry into the cell differs from common table salt in that it is not combined with chloride, the sodium salt most associated with hypertension.

Using Multiple Vitamin C Pathways 1 - Normally Glucose and Vitamin C are taken up by the glucose pathway; as adapted from Lester Packer; “ The Vitamin E, Ascorbate and Alpha Lipoate Antioxidant Defense System --- Glucose and Vitamin C are taken up into the cells by the same transport system.”

2 - It is speculated by more than one researcher that Vitality C does not use the glucose pathway exclusively for transport but uses multiple, entirely different, separate and unique pathways to the cell. Many nutrients utilize the glucose pathway for absorption. Vitality C it would appear does not have to “WAIT IN LINE” to be absorbed into the cell.

3 – Vitality C also includes a “Thiol” source, (one of the most active and bioavailable sources of fundamental sulphur known,) which according to the Lester Packer article mentioned above says that: “Thiol make low cellular vitamin C levels work more efficiently.” (Thiol-per Webster New Collegiate dictionary -- Thiol-Chem. & Pharm. A combining form denoting the presence of sulphur.)

Positive Synergistic Effect of Vitality C There is a positive synergistic effect on building healthier cells when using Vitality C. The new cells are more pliable and permeable, allowing fluids to pass through the tissue more easily. Internally this means more efficient elimination of toxins, a reduction in inflammation and pain - so you feel better. On the outside it shows up as a softer, smoother complexion, stronger hair and nails - so you look better!

4 - It is believed that Vitality C enters the cell from several pathways, i.e. the Glucose pathway, the Pentose Phosphate pathway, the Sodium pathway and all with Thiol enhancement rather than just the Glucose or Glucose/Aldonic pathway.

At this time we don’t know exactly how it works, but what we do know is that it has been reported in a preliminary human study to have at least a 30 % enhancement uptake over Vitamin C. A clinical evaluation is currently under way and further research is currently being discussed to validate the above pathway possibilities.
