Greetings, ACUI Region IV Family! As we settle into shorter days and cooler temperatures across much of our region, I hope you are all adjusting to the changes and staying well. As the calendar year is coming to a close, perhaps more hot cocoa by the fireplace is in order for everyone. Many of us recently attended a fabulous Regional Conference at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. So much went into planning this experience, and I want to give a special shout out to our 2018 Regional Conference Coordinator Donnyale Ambrosine and her phenomenal Conference Planning Team. Thank you all for your hard work in creating the Regional Conference. I would also like to give a special thanks to our host institution Gonzaga University and the staff of the John J. Hemmingson Center.

I’m excited for the coming year. Being at the forefront of change and newness is what makes Region IV so great. To name a few examples, in 2019 we will partner with Region I to develop a joint Regional Conference in Reno, Nevada, where we will expand our network, generate fresh ideas, and increase our impact to build community across Regions I and IV. Additionally in 2019, Region IV will begin using a new budget model to plan our fiscal well being, with goals to generate more resources and opportunities for our membership.
