Actwell Lighting is proud to have been involved with the development of 88 Walker Street from the very early stages.
This 50 Storey hotel and commercial building contains 252 hotel suits, reception, restaurant, executive lounge, gym, ground level retail, end of trip amenities and offices.
we supplied close to 4000 light fittings, for numerous locations and applications. Working closely with the team, careful consideration and planning was made in terms of aesthetics, functionality as well as maintaining cost.
One of the standout features of 88 Walker Street is the illuminated decorative soffit, which has been achieved using the Spectre light fitting AW611-1EW.

THE SKYLIGHT
Featuring an ultra-low profile for where ceiling cavity space is limited, this downlight range is achieved by utilising our patented Thin Film Transistor technology. Available in a family of different outputs in both round and square profiles.
THE FIORE
With a small light aperture and low profile, the Fiore downlight is perfect for focussed lighting over amenities and to highlight key features within a space. This downlight’s IP65 rating guarantees resilience against water and dust, making it suitable for wet environments like bathrooms.

Suspended Decorative Light
THE SIEMPRE
The Siempre decorative pendant lights captivate with their stunning lighting arrangement, featuring graceful interlocking rings, forming both inward and outward facing loops. With customisable arrangements to suit bespoke settings, the pendant light is available in various finishes of a brushed and bevelled aluminium.
ERIC TWEEDALE STADIUM
State of the art, $11.3 million stadium has been sustainably built with key focus areas being the timber ceiling and the lights, The key aim was to utilise and carefully position the light fittings to enhance direct attraction to that location, thus emphasising the highlighted ceiling. This was especially important after dark, as it allowed the community to utilise the grounds and stadium without being surrounded by darkness.
Supporting and assisting the designing phase allowed Actwell Lighting to utilise skills regarding lighting placement, lighting specs, as well as overall design. The aim was to highlight, illuminate and get maximum output from the lighting on the stadium.
THE STEPPY & THE TREAD
The Steppy and Tread recessed interior wall lights illuminate stairs and corridors in function and style. The downwards facing light is shielded from glare to provide ambient light where it is needed.

GELATO MESSINA
Messina HQ in Marrickville employed the assistance of Actwell Lighting to help design a lighting layout that would incorporate a contemporary design, that would meet key lighting specifications. The HQ houses an open shop layout, as well as a kitchen and a board room. Over 100 lights were supplied, many of which consisted of tracks and track lights. Our AW4121C track light and surface mounted downlights were custom tailored to meet aesthetics and functionality. Having a dimmable track light was key to creating the perfect mood and aura in the rooms, which could easily be controlled when needed.

INFINITY
Working with the architect and the development team, Actwell supplied all interiors and exterior luminaires including landscaping and pool lighting.
The Infinity building located in the new precinct of Green Square houses apartments, a sky lounge bar, cinema room, music room and roof top.
Our team had a hands-on approach, with onsite technical assistance provided to the electrical contractor, landscape team and developer.
