A
t Bricks & Minifigs, we build our customers’ dreams brick-by-brick with our extensive knowledge and an endless selection of LEGO products!
sets on the market! There is one limitation, and one limitation only when it comes to Bricks & Minifigs: your imagination!
LEGO: Just the brand name alone brings a smile to our faces. It sparks a flourish of creativity in our minds, and whether we’re eight or forty-eight, we’re never too old to enjoy the almost endless possibilities within. Bricks & Minifigs, located inside the Cedar Hills Crossing mall (just behind Starbucks), is your one-stop aftermarket LEGO toy shop! They buy, sell, and trade everything LEGO, from complete sets to minifigs and accessories. And because they’re the largest store of their kind, they have the widest selection of new, used, and retired LEGO
Franchisee Lynnette Scott opened the store in 2012. At the time, her son was just 10-yearsold and a LEGO fanatic. With no understanding or regard for what he was asking, he begged her to open her own LEGO store. And Lynnette took the request seriously! It took her a year, but her perseverance paid off when she finally convinced the owners of Bricks

& Minifigs, a local company, to branch out and start franchising. Lynnette became the first franchisee in a business that has now spread out all across the nation! Her initial drive was really just to be the “cool mom.” She had been an elementary school teacher for years and was looking for a change. She envisioned running a business that her son could participate in and enjoy while lavishing him—and other kids—with the best birthday parties imaginable. Little did she know how successful the business would become or how much she would grow to love it. Bricks & Minifigs is a fantastic place for so many reasons! First, they carry many items that you can’t find anywhere else. Like most collectibles, LEGO sets and minifigs are only available for a short time, then they’re retired. If you don’t pick them up in a timely manner, you can miss out. At Bricks & Minifigs, because they buy, sell, and trade new and used LEGO sets, minifigs, and loose pieces, you can often find many of those sets you thought you’d never be able to buy again! Second, they have play areas for amazing parties! Lynnette’s
location in particular has a designated space for parties that is almost 1000 square feet! You provide the food and drinks and she provides the space and the toys. She also does camps! This is a locally owned and operated business, run by passionate people who have not turned their backs on their inner children. Lynnette said she truly loves her work, loves her staff, and her enthusiasm is contagious. It’s obvious the minute you walk into the store and you notice all of the displays in the windows (done by various customers and staff members). In the same way they did when we were kids, LEGO toys continue to bring people together, to encourage interaction, and to share in their creativity. Next time you’re looking for the perfect party place, call Lynnette at 503-644-5701! Or stop on by and peruse the shelves; you just might find that long-retired LEGO set you always wished you’ d purchased but thought was gone forever! Bricks-n-Minifigs is located at 3205 SW Cedar Hills Blvd in Beaverton.
