ultano’s Pizza, to be more specific! Founded in 1977

by Bob and Jeannette Fulton, and armed with a simple concept; to provide consistently excellent food, service that is second to none, and all in a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere. Since then, Fultano’s Pizza took northern Oregon by storm. Today, that concept has transformed a humble little family restaurant in Clatskanie into a chain of stores boasting 7 locations across the state.

Each location shares the name and Fultano’s distinctive recipes, while simultaneously being privately-owned.

Toby Harris, owner of our location here in Scappoose (as well as the one in Clatskanie), started at Fultano’s when he was just 15, working alongside Bob and Jeannette’s son, Robert. He never aspired to it, but he enjoyed it so much that he never looked back! Working with people and being an integral part of the local community—employing local high school kids and sponsoring many of their sports teams—is what makes it all worthwhile. Toby has genuinely come to feel like his employees and customers are an extension of his family.

Of course, no pizza parlor has this kind of success without delivering the pizza goods, and Fultano’s delivers in spades! Most notably, they are beloved for their unique crust. It’s a delicious, thin, golden cornmeal crust which Toby refers to as a “West Coast Crust.” It’s a secret recipe that can’t be found anywhere else! In fact, all of their pizza and pasta sauces, as well as their salad dressings, are all made fresh on-site using secret Fultano’s recipes. Favorite

pies are their Porky Pig (BBQ Sauce topped with Canadian Bacon, crumbled bacon, pineapple, sausage, and cheddar cheese), their Spice of Life (pepperoni, jalapeños, pineapple, and crumbled bacon), and their Everything (Canadian Bacon, salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, pineapple, onions, green peppers, sausage, beef, and tomatoes).

And Fultano’s is no onetrick pony! Not craving pizza? No problem!

They also serve delicious calzones, mouth-watering sandwiches (the Turkey Club Sub is outstanding: turkey, bacon, mayo, on a sub roll, topped with lettuce and tomato), a variety of amazing pasta entrées (Chicken Alfredo being the favorite: Fettuccine noodles tossed with their homemade alfredo sauce, served with chicken and mushrooms), and a selection of soups and salads (including a fresh salad bar!) for something lighter.

There is literally something for everyone! And if you’re a bit parched after all of those breadsticks, they have a full bar in addition to serving beer and wine. Support a local business and enjoy the best pizza in town while you’re at it!
