Many of Richard’s first customers are still with Chimcare LLC today, along with their family and friends.

SOME CONSIDERATIONS IN A DIVORCE Getting divorced is a difficult and lifechanging

event. There are many considerations to dissolving a marriage that may not be obvious at first. The following are several issues likely to need resolution during the divorce process. This article generally focuses on some of the more common child-related matters that come up in a divorce.

CUSTODY AND PARENTING TIME:

Parenting time is usually subject to a “Parenting Plan” which lays out the parenting time schedule, as well as general rules that the parents must follow while co-parenting. The Parenting Plan can range from quite simple to as complicated as the parents are able to agree to.

CHILD SUPPORT: Most people are aware of child

support. Both parents have an obligation to support their minor children (and in some cases children between the ages of 18 and 21), even in cases when the custodial parent can adequately support the children without the help of the noncustodial parent. mathematical formula using an online calculator. The online calculator considers factors such as the parent income, the time children spend which each parent, and certain expenses paid by each parent and then produces a proposed child support number. That said, the court has final authority to determine the amount of a child support order.

There are many other matters to work through in a divorce in addition to the three discussed here. This article doesn’t touch on property division, spousal support, or tax issues - all of which can be some of the most contentious points in the divorce process.
