AARS Mission 1. To establish close cooperative relationships with relevant scientific research organizations and our partner agencies. 2. To provide competent radio communications support for the DDMA, during a disaster and to assist other agencies in every way possible. 3. To be recognized by emergency services agencies and the amateur radio community as a model of competence and professionalism in network operations. 4. To foster training and the development of skills and capabilities that will keep AARS members abreast of new technologies.
AARS - ACTIVEHAMS AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY A Scientific Research Society registered in India to promote radio amateur techniques, latest communication methods, digital radio communication, efficient radio communication setup during a disaster, providing free training in schools and colleges to promote amateur radio.This special service society is dedicated to the advancement of Amateur Radio in our communities.

Community Services - Use of amateur radio in support of community activities, such as charity events, mass crowd celebrations, etc. Education Services- Teaching others, especially school children, about amateur radio, and science/electronics in general, often leading to the earning of a license. Emergency Communications - Using amateur radio to provide backup communications during emergencies and disasters, such as floods, storms, etc. Emergency Management- Planning for and assisting in emergency preparedness for state, county and local governments. Satellite Communications- Communicating with other hams using amateur radio satellites as an overhead repeater. Internet Linking Use of the Internet to relay amateur radio calls around the world, creating networks linked by VoIP, digital file transfer via radio waves. http://groups.io/g/aar
