AD ensures Deafblind people have access to news and information and can be signposted to appropriate agencies for specialist support (welfare rights and housing etc).

AD’s Communicator Guide Service provides specific support to Deafblind people in their homes and communities. This support means that clients have access to education, leisure activities and socialising opportunities.

“Before I had Action Deafness stayed at home because I did It was difficult when I first worked with a communicator guide. communicate with them due to my anxiety.

I now have two male support workers who are a perfect match anxiety and medical conditions. Now I go to the gym, take trips My life quality is getting better! I am able to use staff to family.

The Team Leader is also very supportive and I get a quick amazing and gives A Service User

services, I felt lonely. I mostly not feel I had good social skills.

I didn’t know how to interact with the staff and I struggled to for me. They are brilliant and support me to understand my to the community and even go to Deaf club for bingo. My letters and medical information so I rely less on my family. response if I need something. Overall this service has been me what I need!” from Staffordshire
