Job Creation Knysna was once a welcoming town. Under Mayor Eleanore, unemployed men and women created the lagoon drive and lagoon retaining wall. Visitors were impressed with the beautiful drive into town. Tourists who stayed in our guest houses complimented us. It’s a s m e l l y, d i r t y t o w n w i t h unwalkable pavements and litter all over. It must be extremely difficult for the Knysna ccommodation office to sell this town. I suggest that Gray street become a super pedestrian walk without cars. I would be very grateful for a pedestrian walk straight to the beautiful waterfront. Thank you very much.
