• Demonstrate a basic understanding of human behaviour, relationship systems and social issues such as: poverty, unemployment, HIV/AIDS, crime, child abuse, domestic violence, drug abuse and housing.

• Implement appropriate social work methods and techniques to address the social needs of Client Systems 1.

• Work effectively with members of multi sectoral teams in social service delivery.

• Required to adhere to the objectives of the constitution, the goals and the mission of the Association and to uphold the human dignity and independence of all clients.

Requirements: • Appropriate Degree or Diploma in Social work and registered with SACSSP. • A valid drivers’ licence and willingness to travel.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in at least 2 languages of the Western Cape.

• Strong managerial skills required.
