Started a Movement

Actiforce has been elevating work spaces for nearly two decades. Now a global company, Actiforce started in the Netherlands as just an idea, driven forward by visionary and successful entrepreneur, Johan De weerd.

After Johan sold his archive management company in 2003, he met a passionate engineer who had a remarkable invention that made it possible to adjust the height of a desk easily and with pinpoint precision using an ingenious cable construction. Johan saw how this idea would really benefit businesses and their employees and invested in the idea. He believes “it was the best business decision of my life.”

Today, that patented VisionLift(R) system is the foundation of Actiforce products that sets Actiforce apart. Actiforce started a movement that, today, has helped elevate the work spaces for thousands of people across the world.

In 2021 Actiforce merged with Hettich, one of the world’s largest and most successful manufacture of furniture fittings. To fully realize the international growth potential beyond our existing capabilities and resources to a degree that only an established, global market leader possesses. Hettich was the obvious choice.

Muscle problems

Muscle Probelms if you stay seated all day, your leg muscles and gluteus muscles will become inactive, thus reduciding your ability to sit up straight.

Brain function slowing down

If you stay fixed in one position insufficient fresh, oxygen-rich blood will be pumped around the body, causing brain function to slow down.

Staying seated for long periods casues weight pressure to be unvevenly distributed over the spine, leading to spinal problem in the lower back.

Remaining seated for too long may result in swol len ankles and varicose veins, caused by fluids sinking down into the legs.

Heart risks

Since muscles are less active while a person is seated, they burn less fat. Together with a higher blood pressure and elevated cholesterol levels, this increases the risk of heart disease.

Actiforce Mechatronics is our state-of-the-art manufacturing division located in Penang, Malaysia. Mechatronics is responsible for the entire production process, from purchasing raw materials to product quality control to distribution. Since 2004, Actiforce has manufactured for all our international markets, creating a movement that provides solutions with constant focus and improvement on the processes for a more sustainable manufacturing to ensure we live up to people´s expectations and demands of a good partner for a better lifestyle.
