From my experience, most of the perpetrators have not received the same social sanctions as the victims. In addition to dealing with trauma, victims also have to face negative assumptions and 'jokes' that do not empathize. The most basic thing that needs to be done to deal with this in my opinion is one, namely empathy. Actively listens, responds well, and is able to put oneself in the other person's shoes.

The government through the women's and children's protection service, which acts as a protector of this matter, must be more aggressive in helping if there are cases involving women and children. Assistance and consultation with psychologists is very important so that slowly the psychological burden or mental burden of victims of sexual violence can be reduced, although not completely.
