As a member of the CASS Scheme Association, we’ve adopted CASS (Conformity Assessment of Safetyrelated Systems) methodology for assessing compliance to IEC 61508 and related standards.
Our TÜV-certified experts can implement the Safety Instrumented System (SIS), providing critical protection of your people, environment and assets in hazardous processes. Whether for burner management, overfill protection, emergency shutdown, high-integrity pressure protection, or fire and gas systems, we’ll implement SIS using Rockwell Automation, Pilz, Schneider or Siemens platforms, depending on your needs.
Cougar Automation’s Functional Safety Management System was independently audited using CASS to demonstrate our compliance with BS EN 61511 as a system integrator.
Our TÜV engineers can also participate in HAZOP to help you identify hazards and assess safeguards to determine if you need additional layers of protection.
