ABOUT US ActelGrup is a second-degree cooperative with 109 associated cooperatives from the autonomous communities of Aragón, Catalonia, Castile and León, Extremadura and the Valencian Community. The entity was founded in 1980 and today represents a leader in the Spanish and European food production sector in the field of oil, sweet fruit, citrus, cereals and alfalfa. Our olive oil division was founded in 1980 in the heart of Les Garrigues, the cradle of the Arbequina olive, with the goal of producing the best extra virgin olive oil, fruit of the labour and commitment of our producing members and cooperatives. Thanks to tradition and decades of experience in olive oil production, our products stand out for their high quality and taste.

PRODUCTION AND VARIETY

There are hundreds of different olive varieties in the world, each with its own peculiarity, like the growing conditions, shape, colour, texture and taste of its fruits. The Arbequina comes from the Spanish town of Arbeca in Catalonia. Its production is not as large as other olive varieties. Arbequina olive oil is characterised by its balanced taste and aromatic hints of green almonds, tomatoes and artichokes.

GERMANOR PRODUCTS Germanor is our most traditional and popular brand. It embodies the taste of tradition. The brand includes extra virgin olive oil, Grenache vinegar, olives and almonds.

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL Extra virgin oil of the Arbequina variety, native to the county of Garrigues and considered one of the best in the world. Obtained from the first cold extraction of the fruit. A pure olive juice, 100% natural. Tasting note: Arbequina extra virgin olive oil has an intensely fruity green olive flavour which gives it a strong but balanced bitter pepper taste, which evokes green grass. With a moderately sweet aftertaste and aromatic hints evoking green almonds, tomato plants and artichokes.

OLIVES

Arbequina Our olives, produced using traditional procedures passed from generation to generation.

GRENACHE WINE VINEGAR Germanor Grenache wine vinegar. Made from Grenache wine and aged in oak barrels following the traditional method. Tasting note: Grenache vinegar presents a fine acidity which accentuates its perfume of almonds, hazelnuts and fruit preserves like peaches and figs. Perfect in vinegars and salads and for scenting gazpachos, cold soups and baked fish.

Our almonds, toasted and fried with our best extra virgin olive oils, make an ideal appetiser.

Almond characterised by its elongated, flat and uniform shape and light colour. Its flavour is intense and sweet.

A good-sized almond with a rounded shape, sweet flavour and high index of fatty acids, above all other varieties.

ROMANICO PRODUCTS Romanico is the greatest expression of all the values of extra virgin olive oil. Extra virgin olive oils, vinegars, olives and almonds. The Romanico catalogue includes both organic and conventional products.

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL Extra virgin oil from the best Arbequina olives. An explosion of balanced taste which will surprise you with its extraordinary quality and add the final touch to your dishes. Tasting note: Oil with a fresh and delicate scent, intense green fruitiness with hints of tomato, banana and apple, with a very balanced fruitiness and sweet entrance, bitter and spicy in medium intensity.

ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL Romanico offers a line of organic extra virgin olive oil produced in as environmentally friendly a way as possible, as the only products used to farm the olive are natural and, therefore, chemical free. We have been certified by the Catalan Board of Organic Ecological Production (CCPAE). Tasting note: Intense green olive fruitiness with remarkable fruity aromas of banana, apple and almond as well as light touches of plants and freshly cut grass. Slightly bitter and hot.

MODENA VINEGAR

Romanico Grenache wine vinegar. Made from Grenache wine and aged in oak barrels following the traditional method.

Modena vinegar is a unique and flavourful product, with a protected geographical indication (PGI) linking it distinctly and exclusively to the region it is named after: Modena, Italy.

Tasting note: With a bittersweet taste and subtle hints of cherry, it makes a perfect dressing for salads, vegetables...

Made exclusively from Trebbiano grape must and aged in barrels with different essences –mulberry, ash tree, cherry, chestnut and oak– which give it a thick structure and a very aromatic taste. FORMATS Glass: 20 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml

APPLE VINEGAR

RED WINE VINEGAR

Organic Romanico apple vinegar made from organic apples. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Vegan vinegar, gluten and sulphite free. It is a natural, 100% organic vinegar. Ideal for dressing salads and vegetables and highly recommended for making vinaigrettes and sauces.

Organic Romanico red wine vinegar, the perfect combination of tradition and technology throughout the production process. A vinegar of great taste and character. Especially good for making salad dressings and sauces, among other dishes. Vegan, gluten free and 100% organic.

Yellow-beige in colour, it has a more subdued appearance than other filtered products. Fruity, fresh and soft aroma.

A rich deep red in colour, clean and bright. A balanced taste with just the right amount of acidity and soft scents evoking ripe berries.

PÂTÉ AND OLIVES An ideal pâté for appetisers and for giving an original touch to your recipes. It constitutes an artisanal product used in Mediterranean cuisine. FORMATS Glass: 400 g
