The hoplite, the common infantry unit of the time, was a heavily armored unit that was equipped with a bronze helmet, corslet, greaves, and large circular shield, called the hoplon, which weighed twelve to fifteen pounds alone.

When Pandora was breathed in by hermes all gods blessed her with a power. But Zeus, the last one gave the two most important.

No women were allowed to participate in the sporting events of the Olympics. To ensure that a male was competing, athletes would be nude when they participated in the games.
