Impact of 2019-20 Charitable Giving At a nonprofit school like ACS, PHILANTHROPY has a direct and positive impact. As a result of the generosity of our community of parents, faculty, staff, alumni, former parents, and friends, ACS enhanced and enriched learning opportunities for our students’ success beyond what tuition alone provides.

Elevating ACS World Languages Program and igniting a passion for learning Arabic by investing in Arabic curriculum & faculty • Daily professional development/ group curriculum planning • 420 hours of Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) Reader’s Writers Workshop training for all 14 ES, MS, and HS Arabic faculty • Onsite iPad training for Arabic Faculty with Apple Certified, Arabicspeaking trainer • 3 days enhancing curriculum with 3 trainers from Columbia University’s Global Language Project • 3 educators attended NESA World Languages session in Muscat • Investment in ADIOS program to ensure high-quality implementation of the curriculum & Live virtual sessions with the program developers
