⼜到了楓葉盛放的季節，儘管九⽉的氣温不似預期，但中 秋節過後，我相信⼤家都準備好迎接微寒的秋⾵。

經過了暑期活動，現在接下來是⼀年⼀度的⾺拉松賽事， 義⼯們雄⼼勃勃地設定了今年⽬標，就是⼀起跑出2,023 公⾥的壯舉，⼤家都帶著猶豫但充滿信⼼的熱情，將跑步 納⼊了個⼈的每天⽇程內，並相約每週⽇下午3:00在

AcrossU-hub附近⼀起練習。有未能及時報名參加今年的 湖濱⾺拉松賽事的義⼯們，發起集合年輕⼈連同家⼈⼀起 於10⽉22⽇在Across出發⿑⿑跑5公⾥，整件⾃發事件令 ⼈興奮。希望你也來和我們⼀起跑。

在活動之後，⾃發展開不同的項⽬，將所學所得進⼀步 發揮，並在每⼀個項⽬中找到滿⾜。

It is the time of the year again when maple leaves are in full bloom. Despite the unexpected temperatures in September, I believe everyone is prepared to welcome the slight chill of autumn after the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Following the summer activities, we are now gearing up for the annual marathon event. Our volunteers have set an ambitious goal this year—to collectively run 2,023 kilometers. With a mix of hesitation and unwavering enthusiasm, everyone has mark down running into their daily schedules. We have also made a schedule to practice together near Across U-hub every Sunday afternoon at 3:00. For those volunteers who couldn't register in time for this year's Toronto Waterfront Marathon, they have initiated Across U-hub’s Friends and Family Run on October 22nd, starting from Across. This pop-up event is truly exciting, and we welcome your joining, hope to see you there.

Another volunteer-driven initiative is the transformation of Across's mezzanine into a craft studio by Crafteria participants. They are crafting gifts by hand for each guest who will attend the November fundraising dinner. It is a heartwarming scene. We sincerely invite you to come and receive their thoughtful creations.

Our plan includes a variety of activities, and I look forward to seeing participants gain inspiration from these events. What excites me the most is seeing them start new projects on their own initiative after these activities, further applying what they have learned and finding satisfaction in each project.

Getting Ready for Our Annual Gala

AfterthecampwrappedupinearlySeptember,ourstaffteam quicklydoveintothepreparationofourannualgala:theAcross U-hubFundraising&YouthAwardCelebrationDinner.Thisgala servesasasignificantmomentforourorganization,allowingus toraisecrucialfundsthatsupportouryouthdevelopment programsthroughouttheyear.Unlikepreviousyears,mostof theearlybrainstormingandpreparationwereprimarilyinitiated bystaffandboardmembersofAcrossU-hub,showcasingtheir unwaveringdedicationtoourmission.

Thisyear'sgalapromisestobeparticularlyspecial.Wehave extendedaheartfeltinvitationtoourtalentedCrafteria workshopparticipants,whosecreativityandpassionhavebeen integraltoourorganization'ssuccess.Theyhavetakenonthe taskofcraftingexquisitetableprizesforourgalaguests, demonstratingthedepthoftalentandcommunityspiritthat Crafteriahasnurturedoverthepastfewmonths.

Asweeagerlyanticipatethisyear'scelebration,weextendour deepestgratitudetoourdedicatedstaff,boardmembers, fundraisingcommitteeandthewonderfulCrafteriaparticipants andvolunteerswhocontinuetomakeourmissionareality.
