Message from Executive Director

希望你們都度過了愉快的⼆⽉。Across在這個⽉推⾏的 NeighbourinNeedCollectionDrive，經過了解，我們 選擇了幾所服務不同對象的機構，針對他們的需要，收集 物件，經過處理，送給指定機構。

在這個活動中，我們不僅以⾏動向有需要的⼈釋出關懷， 更重要的是，我們提供了⼀個絕佳的機會，讓我們的義⼯ 們進⾏實踐和訓練。他們不僅參與收集、整理和發放物件 之外，同⼯藉此機會刻意安排討論和深⼊思考了許多重要 的議題，例如：「誰是我們的鄰舍」、在施與和縱容之間 應有的態度、我們擁有是否⽐需要更多等，這些討論和反 省對他們的成⻑和發展⾄關重要，這也是AcrossU-hub ⼀直以來所倡導的「領袖訓練」模式的核⼼。

這次活動讓我們看到了⼀個⾮常重要的發現，那就是，參 與活動的年輕⼈不僅僅是施與者，同時也是受惠者。這樣 的意識深化了他們對施與和受惠的理解，也促進了他們的 成⻑和發展。

Across舉辦每個活動都著重引發討論，培育年輕⼈的同理 ⼼、判斷能⼒，並建⽴志同道合的朋友。今年，我們尤其 著重於義⼯的訓練⼯作，並且每個⽉都有不同的主題服務 重點，例如地球⽇、植樹、給露宿者送⾷物等等。我們相 信這樣的活動不僅可以幫助年輕⼈踏實參與社區服務，更 可以激勵他們發掘潛能、關懷鄰舍、並貢獻社區。

最後，我想向誠摯的感謝你們。你們的⽀持對我們的⼯作 ⾄關重要。讓我們攜⼿合作，幫助年輕⼈繼續為社區服務 做出更⼤的貢獻。

Message from Executive Director

I hope you all had a wonderful February. I am pleased to share that our Neighbour in Need Collection Drive, conducted throughout this month, has incredibly encouraging results.

In this activity, we not only helped our neighbors in need, but more importantly, we provided an excellent opportunity for our volunteers to engage in action and training. They participated not only in the collection, sorting, and distribution of items but also engaged in deep reflection on various important issues such as "Who are our neighbors" and the attitudes between giving and enabling. These discussions and reflections are crucial for their growth and development, which exactly demonstrate the core of the "leadership training" model that Across U-hub has always advocated.

My observation in this activity is that our young participants are not just givers but also recipients. This realization deepens their understanding of giving and receiving, fostering their personal growth and development

At Across, we always create discussions focus on nurturing empathy, judgment, and fostering like-minded friendships among young people This year, we have placed particular emphasis on volunteer training, with different service focuses each month, such as Earth Day, tree planting, and providing food for the homeless We believe that such activities not only help young people to actively engage in community service but also inspire them to discover their potential, care for their neighbors, and contribute to the community.
