At ACREW we believe that Captains and Crew are the heart of the superyacht industry.

Through our international Crew Awards and physical/online events, we support the professional development of superyacht crew professionals and celebrate their achievements. For this reason, we developed Crew Spotlight videos so Charter Brokers and potential Charter Guests can experience the strengths of the individual crew and the teams combined to better understand the yacht’s identity, characteristics and specialties.

Crew Spotlight videos provide a solution for superyachts to showcase their crew to brokers. The video will provide a quality introduction to your crew, highlighting the personality, capabilities and experience of your team. These videos enable brokers to match the unique requirements of a client with your vessel for successful charters this season.

To date, we are very pleased with the feedback from the vessels, management companies and central agents. They highly appreciate the initiative and are very excited to see that in these complicated times new ways of showcasing Crew to Charter Brokers and potential charter guests are offered. Charter Brokers have also commented that they do not always get to meet the full crew and might not recall every individual.

The ACREW film team have travelled around the globe to film these Crew Spotlight videos and accommodate our customers needs wherever they may be.

Briefing with the Captain and Heads of Department to find out what style/concept they envision

Two to three hours video shoot on the vessel with our inhouse director and videographers

Headshots are taken of all crew members

e do not require the Crew Spotlight Videos to be a profit centre to ACREW; we see the opportunity to develop our position as the leaders in supporting crew skill and professionalism onboard. Therefore we have decided to offer this initiative at cost price.

Normally, a similar service would require an investment of at least 7,500€, excluding expenses. We will of course work around the schedule of the vessel, the video shoot should not affect the regular work as it can be planned simultaneously.
