Staff Accomplishments
T.C. Williams High School (renamed Alexandria City High School in July 2021) College and Career Counselor Stacy Morris was named the Potomac & Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling’s (PCACAC) Counselor of the Year. This regional award recognizes Ms. Morris’ work in supporting students’ access to college, scholarships and financial aid as well as her dedication to supporting students as they develop the mindsets, behaviors and skills they need to be successful on a college campus. Kathleen Brewster, the lead school counselor at the Minnie Howard Campus of the T.C. Williams High School (renamed Alexandria City High School in July 2021) was named the 2021 Outstanding Student in Education Leadership at George Mason University. In recognition of her award, Ms Brewster celebrated the collaboration of the TCW community in using data to drive school-wide improvements that meet the needs of all Titans.
