QUA L I T Y We draw all parts in Norway, down to the smallest detail. Our jewellery is made of the best materials. The castings are made from brass or alloy which are free from lead, nickel and cadmium. The earrings have titanium posts. The plating standard is of high quality, and is upgraded to real burnished silver and real burnished gold plating which adds value both for you and your customers. The stones used, are mostly Swarovski and Austrian crystal stones, but we also use hand cut glass jewels made exclusively for us. Our Pure Steel jewellery has a high polished surface with no plating. Gold items have IP plating on steel base – the most advanced and durable plating process.

Core – base material of bijoux jewellery. A&C Oslo uses a metal alloy free from lead, nickel and cadmium which comply with international standards for health and environment. Cubic Zirkonia / CZ - Synthetic mineral that looks like a diamond. The stone is facetted without foil on it’s backside. Cubic Zirkonia/CZ is usually set in a claw setting.

A&C Oslo jewellery is high quality fashion jewellery, and subject to wear and tear the same way as all other wearable things. Eventually the jewelry may become worn out, e.g. like a shoe or a sweater. How fast depends on how much its worn and treated. Saltwater, sweat and cosmetics is harmful to plated surfaces, and should be avoided. Bending of metals may eventually cause breakage. Falling on hard surfaces, or exposure to water may cause glued stones to fall out. Do treat your jewelry with care, do not keep in moist environment, and remove during sports, sleep and hard work. You’re A&C jewellery is made with the best materials, mostly in alloy castings completely free of nickel, cadmium or lead. The plating is durable and stones are glued with care. Errors caused by external influences are not considered productions defects.

Pure Steel - Our steel jewellery is made up of 100% steel. It comes in three different platings: Steel (316 steel is a very durable and hard material where the surface has no plating, but is polished) , Gold plated (real 14k gold on a steel base) Electro plating - Gold or silver is transferred onto the base material in a bath using electrolysis. Usually done on an alloy base. Freshwater Pearls - Pearls that are farmed and created using freshwater mussels. Colors are white, pink, grey and black. Glass Beads - High quality beads made of glass that comes in many colors. Cut glass beads have many facettes which reflects the light and glitters nicely. The beads can also be given a coating to create different decorative effects. Glass beads can also be round or have a matt surface. Glass Pearl - Imitation of pearl – made of glass. Long lasting and high quality. The color is burned and will not tear of. Handcut glass jewel - Hand cut glass jewels. Hand cut coloured glass, designed by A&C Oslo to fit A&C Oslo’s original castings. IP plating – gold - The most advanced and durable plating process – gold is merged onto the steel base by using vacuum. Reconstructed stone - Man made stone beads made of minerals. The stones can be dyed in any color and made into any shape. The stone beads have a solid touch and looks like a semiprecious stone.

Recycled glass - Recycled glass which is handcut and polished. The pieces are individually shaped to each piece of hand sculptured pure silver/bronze. Silver/Gold plated - A thick layer of pure silver or gold that covers the surface of the jewellery. The plating is lightly oxidized and coated for further protection.
