BREACH: SAVE THE WHALE PROJECT When we chose our brand, we thought about something that could represent the uniqueness of our products, something that was simple, but different from everything else, that could make you feel free to travel, to explore, to sweep through wastelands and blue oceans… The BREACHING – the jump of the whales that rise out of the water – has been a sudden inspiration for us. Observing these wonderful animals rising out freely of the blue oceans water, we understood that this moment, this majestic bursting, this simple elegance could represent us and be our symbol.

Since we were getting more and more interested in the whales world, we tried to look for a better identity, something that could make everybody understand who we are and who we want to be. We wanted to underline our philosophy through our undertaking not only to product quality garments, but above all to do something that could be touchable and evident: in this way we found the Whale Center in New England. This is an association established in 1970 in order to protect these wonderful mammalians.

We found a group working for the sea, for the whales freedom, and which aim is keeping alive that part of the world that we tried to destroy. We have been astonished by the professional competence and by the devotion shown by this association.

Loving nature means respecting it, and we found people that made this concept the aim of their lives. Being free means looking for freedom and giving it to others. This organization mission is helping these cetaceans to be free and alive.

Loving life means loving living and the possibility of giving life to someone else.

Thanks to the Wale Center we felt ourselves involved in a crusade that can only be an advantage for the so-called BLUE PLANET. We decided to adopt a whale for each new Breach corner, imagining that our growth corresponds to the possibility of giving life to some of these cetaceans. Zeppelin, Colt and Regulus have already joined our family and we will adopt other whales soon because we are aware that thanks to our growth in Italy, we can do more and more for these animals. Together with the Whale Center in New England, we decided to add a link for the whales adoption on our web site, so that everybody can easily enter this organization web site and do their own adoption.

Visiting our web site www.breach.it you can enter this incredible world made of simplicity and mystery. After the adoption, you will receive your own certificate, a cd containing some photos, some whales sounds and the history of the whale you decided to adopt. In the cd you will also find the names of the whale parents. Besides you will be informed about the progress made and you can support the Whale Center initiatives. Let’s imagine yourself immersed into the blue of the sea or in the blue of the Arctic sky ready to do Whale watching , looking for your whale … and protected by a Breach jacket.
