A Call for Questions... The Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) invites registered aromatherapists to submit questions for future ARC Registration Examinations in Aromatherapy. ARC is continually in need of new test questions to update its test pool. Questions should reflect current aromatherapy practice and be based on research validated knowledge and skills. ARC is particularly seeking high quality test questions in the Professional Issues section of the content outline: IV. Professional Issues A. Documentation 1. Consent Forms 2. Client Records 3. Other B. Referrals C. Follow-up D. Quality Control 1. Standards 2. Purity 3. Adulteration 4. Testing E. Compliance 1. Local/State/Province/Federal Regulations 2. Labeling F. Ethical Concerns
Please consider submitting test questions. It provides you with a chance to add value to the ARC Registration Examination in Aromatherapy! Additionally, the submission of 10 test questions counts as 5 contact hours of continuing education towards reregistration. Submit your test questions today!
*Refer to the Content Outline in the ARC Handbook for Candidates (available at www.ptcny.com/clients/arc/) for a more comprehensive body of knowledge. Please write multiple-choice test items so that there is a question, one correct answer, and 3 wrong answers. AIA conference coming up in the Fall in Denver All ARC registered aromatherapists are cordially invited to attend the International Conference of Clinical Aromatherapy sponsored by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists to be held in Denver, Colorado, October 18-21st, 2007. Our theme is "Celebrating the Past, Creating the Future of Clinical Aromatherapy". An international gathering of speakers includes Robert Tisserand, Dr. Daniel Penoel, Jennifer Jeffries, Elizabeth Kahn and others. There will be a panel discussion on pediatric aromatherapy and options to attend a post conference workshop. AIA will honor Robert Tisserand with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the conference. Registration Reminder ARC Registration is valid for 5 years. To maintain your registration status, you must reregister by applying for and passing the ARC Registration Examination in Aromatherapy or by completing 100 contact hours of continuing education.
