SCHOOL PROFILE 2026/2027 School and Community ACG School Jakarta is a private, co-educational international school in South Jakarta, offering education from Kindergarten to Year 13. Founded in 2004, it has grown from a small primary school into a full international school. The school is part of the Inspired Education Group, which operates 125 schools worldwide, and is registered with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture under a local foundation (Yayasan). ACG School Jakarta welcomes both Indonesian and international students, with around 36 nationalities represented. English is the language of instruction, and the school’s central location serves families connected to embassies, multinational companies, and local businesses. Admissions are non-selective, making the school accessible to both expatriate and local communities.
School Calendar ACG School Jakarta operates a two-semester school year – August to December and January to June respectively for Semesters One and Two. On average, there are 180 teaching days in the school year.
School Curriculum As an IB World School and Cambridge Assessment Centre, ACG School Jakarta combines international programmes with the Indonesian national curriculum. About 93% of Year 12 and 13 students follow the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), with their progress closely monitored through to the final exams in Year 13. Some students may choose not to sit the IB exams, but still graduate with the ACG High School Diploma. The IBDP is a rigorous, internationally recognised programme that prepares students for university and is highly valued by leading universities worldwide.
Grading System ACG School Jakarta reports academic progress twice each year and the academic reports are summary documents based on the assessment guidelines of the IB and Cambridge qualifications. In IBDP, ACG School Jakarta uses the IB 7-point grading system where 7 represents the highest grade possible and 1 represents the lowest grade possible.
