Dear Parents and Friends of Sunderland On Wednesday night I had the privilege of attending our annual Itinerate Music concert held here at Sunderland in the auditorium. From the Chamber Orchestra to rock bands to individual vocal, piano and drum performances, a significant number of our talented young music students performed to an auditorium filled with parents and friends of the school. One parent commented to me at the conclusion of the evening that it is always her favourite show here at school – where kids can perform without having to compete. A special thank you to Mr Dan O’Connor, who again, masterfully managed the entire show. His enthusiasm and passion for music here at Sunderland was evident for all to witness. Thank you again Dan. On Thursday night, Mrs Chartrand and I attended the annual Year Six graduation. This is always a highlight for the students and parents here at Sunderland. The Year Six students are recognised, and their transitions celebrated going into Year Seven and College.
