Way-Losing
Pyh-tgital experience of the city: experience of a place; relations and interactions both with people and with surroundings, mainly throughout a digital interface. second layer of narrative, able to involve users in discovering the hidden and living side of the spaces, people and communities in Bolzano. Definition of lose one’s way : to become confused or uncertain about where one is : to become lost. But the way of losing is another concept of finding a way to explore, lose our path but finding something else instead. This concept is a light to our conceptualizing process. We tried to find a new relation between maps and city, people and the locations, emotions and exploring. The act of losing-way needed to blur some datas in the map. Like every data every particular location. So we re-shaped this concept with
erasing every certain location from map that people can find their ways. Among these erased ones, there are museums, bars, historical places and streets. So people will define everything according to their experiences with colors. A way losing experience Bolzano to discover the city illustrated by the experience of the locals. The interacitve real-time map catch you with a galaxy of locations. This galaxy is actualyy conist from your locations in the way that you experienced How do I feel here? What emotions do I percieve being here? Why would I recommend somebody else to follow this route- this specifi location?

Inspirations Yayoi Kusama
Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist who is sometimes called ‘the princess of polka dots’
Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese contemporary artist who works primarily in sculpture and installation, but is also active in painting, performance, video art, fashion, poetry, fiction, and other arts. Her work is based in conceptual art and shows some attributes of feminism, minimalism, surrealism, Art Brut, pop art, and abstract expressionism, and is infused with autobiographical, psychological, and sexual content. She has been acknowledged as one of the most important living artists to come out of Japan. Curator Mika Yoshitake has stated that Kusama’s works on display are meant to immerse the whole person into her accumulations, obsessions, and repetitions. These infinite, repetitive works were originally meant to eliminate Kusama’s intrusive thoughts, but she now shares it with the world. Claire Voon has described one of Kusama’s mirror exhibits as being able to “transport you to quiet cosmos, to a lonely labyrinth of pulsing light, or to what could be the enveloping innards of a leviathan with the measles
Her Works Yayoi Kusama’s compulsive use of dots began as the result of the many unsettling “hallucinations” and “visions” she had while growing up The repetitive dot paintings, yellow pumpkin motifs, mirror room and her soft sculptures define her work. The artist’s usage of space, varied mediums, experimentation with vibrant colors and eye-catching installations have revolutionized the contemporary art world, and she is now considered one of the most influential and highest-paid living female artists of contemporary art.
Hot and Cold Game
How we used to play? Step 1: Choose a Hunter Choose one player to be the Hunter, and have them leave the room or move away from the group. Step 2: Hide a small object Hide a small object or prize somewhere in the space where you are playing. Step 3: Bring the Hunter back, and have them look for the object Bring the Hunter back into the playing space, and have them look for the hidden object by moving around the area. Step 4: Say “colder” when the Hunter is far from the object Indicate to the Hunter that they are moving away from the hidden object by saying “colder.” If they keep moving in the wrong direction, words that indicate degrees of cold, such as “freezing” or “icy.” Step 5: Say “hotter” when the Hunter is close to the object Tell the Hunter that they are getting closer to the hidden object by saying “hotter.” As they move closer, say “burning” or “scorching.” Step 6: End the game when the Hunter finds the object Continue giving clues until the Hunter finds the hidden object. Keep playing the game until all of the players get a chance to hunt.

Considering gradients of colors as a way to display the main interests of a particular area. The gradient is visible when the users zoom out; The single locations are visible when the users zoom in – looking closer on the map. On the map, the colors (of the gradients) are defined by an algorythm, which analyzes how many locations are present in the area. All the locations within the area contribute to its color: for example, a lot of “green” locations will generate a mainly green gradient.
Creation of a new location on the map: feedback, sliding down box, icons, naming the new location with filters systems for bad words
Incluvitaa
Incluvitaa Logo
Incluvitaa Invluvitaa’s logo takes it’s inspiration from interacting and including typography. The dots are representing the person itself. It includes richness of the personality, it’s culture, emotions and behaivours. When we interact with people some of our aspects can also intersect. The logo itself is also diagram of “intersecting” and “including”. The logo of the Incluvitaa’s relation is also so strong. It has the distinction of being the portrait of the app. Main inspiration to define the
city is “poke dots” which represents repetity and emotions. Poke dot’s is also giving us a way to open galaxy concept. Since galaxy is made of points that goes forever. When you zoom in you will find more points and points has created. From galaxiy to the atom. The colour palete is coming from the palette we choos for representing the emotions.

It’s colours are spectrum from Blue to Yellow. In both colours we have two neon, two bright and two pastel colours. We tried to define common emotions when you experience a space, location. These colors are carefully chosen colors that will allow you to identify when you enter an area. The color palette is limited because we want the message to people to be clean. In fact, with color theory, Incluvitaa describes the most intimate way of exploring a city. A city is not about carefully chosen points, but normally it is about the heart pulse of that city. Fresh memories when you first came to Bolzano and when you leave Bolzano will remain in your mind not clear photos, but feelings, lights, colors and vague locations. We are trying to redefine the pulse of the city with this color theory. We wanted to further strengthen these emotional transitions with the gradient design.
