The Sadhu People

For each of us, the Sadhu lives. Should we stop what we are doing and comfort him, or should we keep trudging up toward the high pass?

There is no doubt that helping Sadhu was the best way forward. From a moral point of view, this was the right course of action to pursue. Most people tried to do their bit as long as it was not too inconveniencing. Each member tried to make an effort, such as carrying him, giving him food, and giving him a coat. However, this was not the best they could have done. As a group, no one wanted to take responsibility, but people tried to be caring as individuals. Even though the excursion had been prepared for a very long time, some sacrifice for Sadhu was worthwhile.

Changing the values of the group

The values of a group must be changed and aligned with the collective vision. Better results can be achieved when individual zeal is converted into more cohesive teamwork.

There are various ways the case applies to businesses and individuals; that is, there is a need to ensure collaborative effort towards the end goal. The individual's effort should be synchronized with the collective vision. There is also a need to select a leader during crunch situations.
