He managed to convince them and they unanimously agreed to leak the questions and ensure that particular interviewee passed, provided they were given some cash (after all that was the tradition in the company). But Josinter refuted; she swore to die for morality. Seeing their determination and the threats posed, she resolved to inform the CEO directly. But to her disappointment, her claims were blushed off and she was accused of defaming the company’s name. Little was she aware that the CEO was also compromised.

After some time, she gathered courage to confront the CEO again. This time she was assured of being fired if she nagged him, hence Josinter was in a dilemma. Her spirit dwindled.

She was later recalled and offered a huge amount of money. She had the hardest time making a decision but finally, she was compromised. She managed to protect her job and gain some free money, but she lives to regret this decision.

We have a tendency to conform to what the majority profess. However once you have strong feelings concerning something ethically right, say it out, fight for it or propose it. Often, the group members may not agree over things they strongly feel about. While it may be hard to have different members of a group understand one’s view, it is paramount to stand for what is right no matter what.
